I brought my friends here for their first time and they all loved the atmosphere and the food. Friendly service and I love coming back to try something new on the menu!
It was when I was invited here for an art show is on the day before, is when I fell in love with the space. So much so that I decided to make a reservation for brunch for the following day. I am glad that I did. The space along with the chic vibe and professionalism of the staff it failed to disappoint.
Both myself as well as my guest enjoyed the exclusive yet casual feel the space lent. I want to keep the place all to myself ,but I’m the worst when it comes to keeping secrets. More than likely I’ll be back there soon with friends that I have told about this gem.
The ambiance is mellow-cool. Not a lot of folks so it’s definitely my kind of place during COVID. The owner DJ is very warm and hospitable and super personable. You can tell he’s a native New Orleanian. He has created a well need niche for classy, grown folks who want something a little different than the ordinary bar. An extra plus is the African American art that graces the walls.
The food is AWESOME! Everything on the menu is delicious and makes u want to lick your fingers...but remember your in public. My favorite from the Sunday Brunch Menu is the Pan Purdue w/the Bananas Foster sauce followed by the Shrimp and Grits. During the week, the Guacamole is the best. Shout out to the chefs Nate and Clarence.
On the drink side, “Money” is the bartender you want! He makes a mean Lemon Drop Martini. He is also know to mix up some specialty concoctions based on your taste and preferences.
The wait staff is personable and great at their jobs.
Overall, I give NOLA Art Bar a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10; this is my new fav place in the city. Well done DJ!!!
A great NOLA version of a speakeasy!!! Great atmosphere...
we ordered the entire menu! Everything was great and the bartender/server was gracious. We fell in love with the artwork and bought a few pieces right off of the walls!
Birthday drinks....amazing bartender!
Money and Mr Charles were very charming! The experience was amazing!
It was an amazing ambiance and overall one of the best places I’ve visited In a while. The cocktails were customized to our preferences and were perfect. The bartender was very personable and creative! This is a must if your looking for something intimate and secluded with top shelf service, settings, and cocktails!
The art is beautiful & the employees are wonderful. You can definitely catch a vibe in there.
Everything was amazing! The Frose was delicious....
Dope scene. Good music. However; service was subpar. I went there for brunch with 7 of my colleagues. I called to make reservation adjustments and they didn’t answer but instead texted me to go on open table. I was hoping to speak to someone since I couldn’t make any changes online.
The food was not memorable and came out lukewarm. Small portions and overpriced. I ordered the chicken and Biscuit kabob which was meh. Maybe it would’ve tasted better if it was served hot and fresh. The most disappointing was their “bottomless mimosas”. It’s not bottomless. It’s $35 for a craft of pre-mixed OJ and champagne. Heavy on the OJ. If you Want a refill , it’s an additional $35. They shouldn’t advertise as bottomless if refills are charged. When I brought it up to the waitress after seeing the bill she said “it’s on the fine print when you reserve on open table and on the menu.” then walked off. It was not on the reservation nor on the menu. Thankfully the manager took care of it when I showed him the reservation confirmation and menu. Disappointing considering so many other local restaurants do brunch for more affordable price with true bottomless mimosas and better service. My guests shared the same sentiments. But we wanted to support Black businesses. I likely won’t be back, at least not for brunch but I hope they continue to improve!
Definitely a must see! Cool vibe and great drinks. Will be back!
This place is awesome. The decor is beautiful. Mr. Charles, DJ and Kenny have all been so friendly and Kenny makes an awesome drink!
The speakeasy burlesque show is fantastic. Bella Blue and Juno always put on a great show, doing 4 sets.
Loved the vibe and food. My first burlesque experience and it was great entertainment

The music was great, upscale vibe, with swanky chic decor. Modernize art work is impeccable!

Great unique experience. Highly recommend it.
Hip venue with a nice vibe- love the artwork and the decor/furniture. Friendly service and an extensive cocktail list.
This place is a hidden gem. I invited my sisters, my nephew, and his girlfriend and we had the best time. The food and drinks were heavenly. Money & Charles kept us laughing. Will definitely visit again.
Very nice place, with a great vibe! I was impressed with the owner being hands on. He was able to give is the history of prohibition in New Orleans.

NOAB is a great place to catch a cocktail, meet a friend, have a date night, host an event...really the list goes on. The owners are charming and warm, the ambience is stylish, and the cocktails are so good you can't just have one.
It was my second visit. Great vibe and service, but I wish they had a full menu instead of just small bites. The guacamole was good though :)
Cool space and minimalistic
The HOTTEST spot in the city now.
Ring the bell! Literally, ring the bell with your name. Make a reservation first.
Beautiful artwork by local artist. The furniture is velvet and to the gawds gorge.
The drinks are hip & trendy. The bites will keep you full for your 2 hour reservation. The cheese plate and guac are pretty legit.
I highly recommend you try this place if you like...All the above.
Amazing place!! The owners and staff are super friendly and the drinks are delicious! Can’t wait to come back!
I attended NOLA Art Bar with loved ones to celebrate my 30th birthday. The staff was kind and courteous, and the owner was also there and checked on our party throughout the night. I found this spot online, and am grateful I did. Everyone assisted in making my milestone birthday a memorable occasion. The drinks and food were amazing and promptly served. I cannot rave about this place enough! Will come back to visit again when in town.
We had a nice Time... I would recommend NOLA ART Bar to all my friends.
This is by far the best spot in New Orleans the new food menu is perfect, for those that want to expand there taste buds perfect spot.Very intimate setting perfect place for a date, small meetings,or just chill by yourself. Definetly this is a slow down, take a load off, relaxation from the every day hustle of LIFE...
A very sexy, superb and sophisticated space. It’s a unique concept to have an art gallery and a craft cocktail bar meshed together, but it works superbly well. From classic to craft cocktails, fine wines, delicious small bites like meat and cheese plates, makes this place one of the most beautiful and enjoyable bars in all of New Orleans. It’s super unique and sexy. The outdoor garden patio is beautiful and very comfortable on a cool New Orleans night. The craft cocktails were also delicious and taste like all fresh ingredients were used. Low music was played in the background, loud enough to hear, but not too loud to have a conversation—it was perfect. It’s the perfect place to bring a date or just come and relax with friends for a nice relaxing evening.
The service was ok. I dined here with friends on Saturday 07/11/20. I gave a fair rating because the bartender waited on us in the main room (which wasn't an issue) but he wasn't as efficient as he could have been because he was also needed at the bar to make drinks for all patrons both inside and outside on the patio. This didn't seem fair to him or us (the customers) especially since there were dedicated servers that were on staff as well at the woman manager who wasn't really hands-on. She just kind of stood around in the way wanting to be seen. And she wasn't very warm when we arrived either. Very cold demeanor. The owner was more inviting and acknowledged me when I walked in unsure of where to go because it was my first time here and I was the first person in our party. The food was ok. My food came out first. It was recycled. Apparently an order was rang in for another table on accident. We literally watched them offer it to the table right beside us. They plainly stated that they had not ordered it and declined. Then the manager took it back (still in the to-go container), waited a few minutes and served it to me. It was crab legs. They were cold. This was unacceptable. My friends' food came out much later and was hot and fresh. They ordered broiled oysters. But I was upset that they had the audacity to cut a baby ear of corn in half. And you don't get a half or whole sausage, but rather a few circular rounds cut off the end of the sausage. Like really? The corn and sausage is cheaper than the seafood. I thought they would have cut corners on the seafood portions to keep prices low, not the side items. The seafood was ok and the portions were reasonable for the price that was charged. Drinks were great! I'd probably come back for drinks and entertainment when its ok to sit at the bar and have service there again (Phase 4 reopening), but I probably won't order food again here or expect too much care from management.
