NoDa Brewing Company was founded on a culture of homebrewing. In fact, our two chief brew masters cut their teeth in the Carolina Brewmasters, one of the oldest homebrewing clubs in America. Whether it's ultra small-batch beers or full-production, year-round brews, we approach every batch the same—with the highest standards and the ultimate attention to detail. It's a sign of our respect for you. We hope you enjoy our beers as much as we have enjoyed making them. So however you say it, "Cheers!" From NoDa
2014 World Beer Cup® Gold Award Winner, American-Style IPA. Hops in your face. Crisp, mouthwatering, American citrus hops dominate for an ideal IPA character. It's hopped before, during and after the boil with late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo for a complex flavor profile. The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Vienna and Wheat malt. This is the beer that started it all for NoDa Brewing
Type: Pale Ale. The evolution of American Pale Ale—still a session beer but it sacrifices nothing—clear hop flavor shines through without being too dominant, and there's a great malt flavor uncommon to the variety. The backbone of this beer is the balance of imported Maris Otter and Caramunich malts with the pine and citrus flavors of Centennial, Simcoe, and Citra hops
Type: Pale Ale. We love hops. Woody and Wilcox love hops. Why not blend our two loves into one amazing beer experiment? Each month we'll release a new ale with the same base beer but brewed with a different hop. Showcasing the variety of hops that brewers now have at their finger tips. Named after our friends Woody & Wilcox, the morning duo on Charlotte's 106.5 The End. Their show's a great way to get your morning started! Call in and tell them we said hello
Type: IPA. Stay in the zone with a low ABV beer that still packs robust flavor and mouthfeel. Brewed with nearly four pounds of hops per barrel and mashed with oats, Par 4 has a smooth and balanced body to even out the payload delivered by a bouquet of select West Coast hops
Type: Red Ale. A red ale with character, Ramble On Red uses the unique combination of rye malt and Belgian Special B with Challenger hops. While it has more body than most reds and a malt-forward profile, it is still a session beer of the finest variety
Type: Porter. Deep, rich and delicious. This robust porter has a base of Chocolate and Brown malts for a stunningly deep rich color with ruby highlights. The slight bitterness from American chocolate is balanced with the sweet notes of organic coconut we toast onsite at the brewery. It was even awarded the Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal in 2012
Type: Blonde Ale. Inspired by Todd's experience as a pilot, CAVU (Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited) is a flight term used to describe clear skies or ideal conditions. We hope you have the same outlook during the warm summer months while sipping on this light-colored and brisk ale that presents itself with hints of tropical fruit and citrus notes from our west coast hops, then finishes clean and bright…like a cool breeze on a clear summer day
Type: Witbier. Our Mojito-inspired Belgian Wit infused with mint leaves and lime zest. See what the cult following is all about. Hazy, minty and citrusy, it's ideal for a summer day or just some summer dreaming
Type: Double Rye IPA. A solid malt backbone with a hefty amount of rye to further the grain bill, NoDaRyeZ'd has a 7-hop blend that accentuates the spiciness of the rye and gives the beer an American IPA flavor, aroma and substantial bitterness
Type: Pumpkin Ale. This Pumpkin is hot, and it knows it. Gordgeous is a well-balanced pumpkin ale using over 50 lbs. of pumpkin and 42 lbs. of brown sugar for every batch! Our spice blend is not the typical for pumpkin beers, either. We use whole-seed spices cracked at the brewery on brew day which include allspice, cardamom, cloves and freshly shaved whole ginger root
Type: Christmas Ale. Santa Baby is our special holiday treat that we hope you'd want to share with your friends and loved ones during the holiday season. This beer is based off a Scottish Export style, having a lower alcohol level of 4.5% and still a nice dark ruby color and malt forward character. To make it even more special we spice it with spices found commonly in Belgian holiday offerings such as coriander, clove, orange peel, ginger and vanilla
