the service was good, but rapidly paced. the servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. sadly, the dishes were some of the poorest i’ve had in any restaurant. i’ve read the reviews preceding mine, and i can understand that the excitement and enthusiasm of being in las vegas tends to blend into everything. hope this doesn’t portray me as arrogant or somehow boasting a unique or superior palate, but i cannot imagine this restaurant earning even three stars on yelp or opentable. there is an accurate review here from august 24 that was a TRUE reflection of the experience, especially the omakase. if you are a frequent patron of superior restaurants (michelin mentioned or rated), you will be extremely disappointed and possibly angry after dining here. firstly, i selected the omakase dining experience and was seated at a teppanyaki table / grill. i asked the host if this was correct, and she said it was. unique. i challenge nobu to reference any omakase experience in the world that seats guests at a tepanyaki table. the dishes that followed were entirely well over-sauced and muted the actual dish. it was clear they were made en masse and not a true omakase style. the sashimi had so much vinegar, i found it inedible (drowning in vinegar sauces). i still am puzzled at a fried rice experience for omakase. the omakase is an opportunity for the chef to share his proudest and most unique fresh dishes that match the fish and style that matches for that day. this was anything but that. as well, an over-dressed spinach salad that was so misplaced in the sequence. i was backed up with two dishes before more were pushed in front of me. i’m not sure i’ll return to any nobu as the food is extremely different than it once was (when nobu was highly acclaimed and admired as the barometer of sushi retardants). it is now simply a claim jumper or outback steakhouse quality of restaurant, but at a price that doesn’t come close to the substantially poor dishes / food.

The first time in Nobu Las Vegas, we were celebrating a birthday and did the teppanyaki omakase experience. Service and food were amazing!

I have always enjoyed Nobu. My most recent experience while good, was not the usually stellar experience. For the price it should be stellar.

We loved our experience - we had just got married in Vegas so we were looking for a real treat, and we love Japanese food so this was perfect! The food was delicious and our chef was great fun. It was expensive though. For us it was worth it - if you want the Teppenyaki experience and plenty of good food, go for it. If you want a private meal with the ability to choose your own dishes, it makes sense to book your own table and choose off menu. Either way, you can expect the food and service to be great. We were made to feel special on our wedding day!

Es una gran experiencia gastronómica, sin embargo no todos los platos son servidos en plancha y eso minimiza un poco la experiencia, pero en sabor todo espectacular

we did the omakase which had the freshest ingredients. the sea bass was particularly excellent. fun, lively teppanyaki chef elevated the evening telling slightly edgy jokes(tame by vegas standards)and greeted us so warmly. he was attentive to tastes and potential allergies. even told us the best way to enjoy food and not to bother with sauces and the like. great evening in vegas
