    I remember much better experiences at Nobu Palo Alto. The food was still excellent but the service and ambiance deteriorated to a mediocre level. we waited outside with a group of more than 8 people (4 groups) to be seated despite being on time. there were available tables but inefficient hostess service got all stuck standing along the reception wall. Dining: we asked to share all the dishes which were served nicely, yet not sharing utensils (serving spoon or serving fork) were provided and we had to ask for them FOR EACH dish that was served. we brought our own wine bottle and paid $50 corkage fee, yet except for the first serving no server offered a refill. The restaurant had slight fishy odor which I did not sensed in previous dining. again - the food was excellent so I believe the restaurant service and ambiance can be improved.

    Lunch at Nobu was exceptional—every bite a perfect blend of flavor and artistry. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the black cod sublime, and the ambiance elegant yet welcoming. Service was impeccable, attentive without intrusion. A truly memorable culinary experience that exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to return for more.
