Everything as described. Just a minor issue because few other guests talked freely and loudly. May be it’s their school reunion. Anyway. Noise from the street was ok. Food and services were fine. High tea presentation.

Absolutely incredible! Our server was so sweet & so hospitable. She had the cutest accent! I wish I could remember her name! She had great recommendations & valued our questions. The best thing on the menu is the Yellow Tail Sashimi with Jalapeño! Absolutely mind blowing!! & the Nobu Champagne paired perfectly with it!! A wonderful experience!!!

I’ve dined at Nobu numerous times, in numerous locations, and love this restaurant. This dining experience was shameful. Our server was very pleasant but rarely around. Several dishes never showed up; our drinks were so slow that all the ice had melted (and the first dish had already shown up). They didn’t refill water, left dirty dishes on our table to the pool where we set them to the side. We had wanted this to be a special occasion and it was embarrassing. I actually stepped out twice to tell the front desk so that my guests wouldn’t be embarrassed and the situation didn’t improve.

Been there multiple times, this was the best experience yet. Did the Omakase first few times, but the best experience has been actually having your waiter customize a menu for the table with a mix of their signature dishes. Felt like a completely different restaurant and experience!

Food excellent as always. Some dishes we love were not available. Loved the new touch of the crunchy quinoa in the seafood ceviche. Yellow tail jalapeño and pop rock shrimp classic flavors. Service was not as good as Nobu Miami or Las Vegas but good enough for the experience. Since now is the closest one we have we will come back for sure.

Food was delicious and the price wasn’t bad! For three people the bill was $350. We received a free scoop of ice cream to celebrate my graduation. Would definitely come back again.

I called the restaurant to say i was running late, as my daughters graduation ceremony had gone longer than expected. I called within the grace time period and said we were running late but would be there in 5 minutes could they hold my table. They said yes. When we arrived they had given our table away. I had booked months prior and explained it was a graduation celebration. No forgiveness. No solution. I am a good custumer and had been there on mai 17 ten days earlier. The manager was cold and said rules are rules. He made no effort to find a solution. Do not tell people who call ahead you will hold the table if you will not. Disgusting to have our duaghters graduation celebration ruined in this way.

Had a great time, service was slow due to our waitress having to take care of too many tables. We sat down and ordered drinks A couple next to us then sat down ordered drinks, and the waitress got them their drinks. It took about an hour to actually order food. Food was great.

It was my daughter’s 18th birthday and it’s her favorite restaurant. The food is always beautifully presented, fresh and delicious! Sitting outside near the Japanese garden was exquisite! Never disappoints, highly recommend!

We ordered a la carte food and also omakase; however, vegetarian omakase was a little underwhelming. Chef could have done better for the meat course rather than just serving cauliflower. Courses 5 and 6 for the veg omakase could be improved.

It was great with on the house anniversary plate with raspberry sorbet ice cream (which was the highlight; it was fragrant taste). We had miso cod and wagyu beef (even the vegies were good). Great service!

I have been to Nobu at least 5 times in the last year. I went with family to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday last night. Big occasion, I had told the restaurant in advance. Service was awful. We ordered a first round of food, which took a while but wasn’t terribly late. Then we ordered three more sushi rolls. They didn’t arrive for a full 45 minutes. Mind you, three roles of cold sushi. No apologies. The usual sense of “we’re a successful restaurant and we get business anyway so don’t bother us”. In a way that is distinctly characteristic of Nobu Palo Alto (hotel and restaurant), there’s never an acknowledgement or any benefit to being a repeat client. No easier process to get a table, no getting a better table, certainly not getting food on time. We didn’t stay for dessert. The birthday celebration was kind of ruined because it made no sense to wait even further for dessert. Of course, prices are as if this were the best restaurant on Earth.

My wife and I love to eat there! Everything is so flavorful and delicious! Never had a bad meal there! Whether we eat in bar or in the dining room, the service and food is always consistent! Everywhere we go on a trip and there’s a Nobu, we’ll go there. Not all are the same and that’s what makes it interesting!! Thanks

This was our second dining experience at Nobu. The experience was great. Here is how it contrasted with our first meal. The first was during the dinner hours. We were greeted by a hostess who immediately told us we would have to vacate our table in 1.5 hours. We were seated in a near empty dining room and then rushed by our server through every course. Our second visit was at lunch. It was stellar. The staff were warm and friendly, the service was excellent and the food outstanding. We were able to have a leisurely lunch without any pressure.

Nobu Palo Alto never fails to delight me once again. Super Chic and Gorgeous Lighting sets the Ambience. Maitre D is welcoming and the Service is Top Notch - Attentive and Efficient. Cuisine is so creative. Had the Omakase last time so was wondering how to top that but the Yellowtail Kizame was creative and elegant especially with micro greens. The Lobster Ceviche Presentation was like Spring in Bloom paired very well with JunMai Sake. Feels so right in my world.

JOHN was our waiter in the outdoor seating area showering us with 5 Star no-rush attentive pleasant service with 5 star cuisine… in Nobu’s 5 star ambiance. Hands down best Japanese (with a Peruvian twist) cuisine in Palo Alto. Will always be back to Nobu’s!! Again and again!

After three hours, we didn’t have our full Omakase meal. We decided to leave. The reason our food was delayed because it was served to someone else. They sat us in their “new” garden but it was cold. The fish wasn’t fresh enough either.
