Marking the continued expansion of The Del’s culinary experiences, Nobu Del Coronado will be the newest addition to the world-renowned Japanese restaurant empire founded by Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro.

Nobu Del Coronado will offer over 3,700 square feet of stunning indoor and al fresco oceanfront dining space, including an outdoor covered patio dining with a pagoda bar and dedicated sushi bar. Nobu Del Coronado will also spotlight Nobu-signature dishes including the iconic Black Miso Cod and Yellowtail Jalapeño, as well as Nobu’s world-renowned sushi, plus locally inspired dishes and cocktails.

I’ve been to many Nobu and unfortunately, the food just did not live up to the flavor of other locations. The ambience was just too loud and crowded and tight space for dinner with that price range and expectations. Our server, staff, and manager were all great! It just didn’t give me the ambience and food flavor I’m use to for a Nobu. I had the spicy seafood and the one in downtown is ten times better: the sushi tasted like sushi deli. Their drinks/ bartenders were 10/10.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter was helpful and explained the menu in detail. He was attentive and friendly. The sushi, rolls, and sashimi were very fresh and reminded us of our experiences in Japan last month. A little on the pricey side but a nice place to dine for a special occasion.

We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at Nobu! The sushi was amazing and the atmosphere had a nice costal vibe. We loved the yellowtail sashimi and spicy tuna rolls. Nobu never fails to deliver😎…

10/10, have been to other Nobu’s and have gotten mediocre service and experience. This changed my perspective on the restaurant. Our server was also amazing, didn’t get his name.

Very disappointed about the manager Nicky how he handled our complain to the guest right front of us who she was vaping throughout the dinner. We talked to our server twice about it, she explained the situation to the manager and he did NOTHING! Completely ignored our concern. (BTW, Smoking/vaping is not allowed in the restaurant) Kitchen was very slow and the food wasn’t warm enough. the dinner took us 2.5 hrs to finish. We wasn’t happy about the whole experience with this price point. This was our first time dine at Nobu Del Coronado and will be our last.

We ate inside, so the noise level was obviously going to be louder, than if we had eaten outside. But we were still able to have conversation comfortably. Everything was exceptional, maybe even better than expected. The food (we ate entirely sushi) was SO GOOD!!!

Food was great and so was the service. The Black Cod Miso is 10/10. My only issue is that we were left waiting for a while to get the dessert menu (15 minutes w/o anyone coming to our table).
