Nick, our server was outstanding. We literally let him choose everything for us and he was perfect. Every dish and every glass of wine was outstanding.
You will without question enjoy No. 9
Great experience staff was fantastic.
Food was great
Fabulous fabulous fabulous. As always. Waitstaff is outstanding. The food is amazing Truly one of the best restaurants in Boston
Poor service duck was over cooked
Always a top notch dining experience! Quiet and elegant room, impeccable service and beautifully presented, delicious food and wine. Bolognese is a must try.. a little spicy! Crudo, octopus and steak tartare are stand outs.
Amazing experience here overall. The food was one of the best meals and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and I. We celebrated her birthday there and all the staff took time to wish her a Happy Birthday.
My wife and I really enjoyed the intimate setting of the restaurant in general, and our waiter was top-notch, including knowledge of all meals and an expert sommelier taboot! He made us feel very special on my birthday night out, I'd recommend anyone go and see what you're missing @ no.9 Park...
The menu is somewhat limited but all courses were excellent. This was our 1st time eating in-house in over 13 months and the service and quality were what we have remembered form the past dining experiences at 9 Park.
Fabulous meal and service. The prix fixe meal was awesome - every single dish - even though it "forces" you to a 4-course meal. The wine pairing was outstanding, although pricy at $75 for basically 2.5 glasses of wine (three 3 oz pours and one 6 oz pourł
Food was outstanding. Service and atmosphere were great.
The service was outstanding and the food delicious. Great selection of wine. Good ambiance for a tete a tete.
Food and wine were excellent as was our server. Memorable meal.
The server was very nice. Wine parings were fabulous. The 1st course was very good. 2nd course bolognese, good but served cold. Both main courses were cold and everything was bland tasting. Very disappointing. Desserts were good. We will not return.
We had an absolutely fabulous meal served by excellent, knowledgeable staff! Would be very hard to beat!
We had a delicious dinner! Would definitely return if we are in Boston.
Been many times but this time was not up to par. Requested a vegetarian meal and was served the vegetarian sides from the nonvegetarian entrees...no creativity. Service okay but again presentation of prix fixe courses was lacking with little to no description of each course. Overall fair at best experience at what used to be one of the best in the City so hopefully this was the exception not the rule.
This was my 4-5th time eating here.
This restaurant is not what it once was.
Not a lot of restaurants are doing fine dining anymore and no where on open table did I see it was gonna be a chefs menu. At first I was thrilled but then the first dish arrived and we took our first bite and were not wowed. Nothing stood out well besides the dirty light above my head.
No. 9 Park has good service but a recent visit made me leave thinking I wouldn’t return. First, sparkling water was warm, had to request ice. Second, bread was served cold (don’t be lazy- warm it up for us). Third, a dish was served with a hair on it. They were polite and re-made it but still... Last, for a six course tasting menu they nailed 5 out of 6 so that’s pretty great. The one specific course I thought was not well done was the asparagus served extra soft and tender, the dish was delicate in texture, fresh, but then they added hard chunks of pancetta that tasted like tough and thick cubes of beef jerky. It was a random combo that felt arbitrary and mismatched in terms of textures. Otherwise, their flavor profiles and combos were exceptionally executed. The opening crudo dish was impeccable and the artistry in the plating was noteworthy. Staff is super nice. For the value, I would not go back or recommend. If you are paying $300/meal all the details should be just right and absolutely nobody’s short hairs should be in your meal. It takes away from the gorgeous plating and why shouldn’t the waiter look before serving- seemed careless. Attention to detail is just not there. Again, people really nice but I was sad for Boston that this is considered one of its best.
A wonderful experience from the dedicated professionals. French cuisine at its finest.
Exquisite menu and impeccable service. Top notch all the way
Great food but some of the worst service I have ever had in Boston. Waitress was rude and unfriendly. Plenty of other great places to eat in Boston.
The atmosphere could be more lively!
Our apologies for your lackluster experience. Please note that during this pandemic, any esthetic changes made through the restaurant as purely been for the safety of our guests. We hope as we all emerge from this that we can provide a more lively experience once more.
Best dining experience in Boston
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was impeccable and the service was stellar. A very memorable dinner that I will gladly repeat!
Great cocktail classes and dinners! We always have such a great time and feel well taken care off. Classy, not stuffy.
The Faro Island salmon crude was one of the best things we tasted ever! My husband loved the fois gras and the steak tartare. Bolognese was very good as well. The only course we thought could use improvement was the Wagu beef. It was very flavorful and perfectly cooked to order but the grade of the beef was very chewy. The lighting could be improved. I hate great food that I can barely see. Staff was fantastic!
Nick was our server and did an amazing job. He answered all of our questions and paired wines perfectly with our courses. This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and Nick should be recognized for his amazing customer service.
The staff were great
Couldn’t have a higher recommendation for this restaurant. There is a reason it has been considered the best of Boston year after year. The staff was extremely kind and attentive to all of our needs and went out of their way to make our 30th birthday celebration extra special. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much to all of the staff.
The foods and service are great here!
We enjoyed getting out again for one of our favorite splurges. Not quite like pre-pandemic atmosphere but glad it’s open! Only complaint is the bavette dish was quite salty- burning out my taste buds for everything that came after.
Sophisticated tasting menu with well-paced courses and very professional and knowledgeable service. Great cocktails and wine pairings with the courses. Expensive and worth it. Highly recommend this dining experience.
For being known as one of the best restaurants in Boston, I was a bit disappointed. Service was good, but food was a bit of a let down. The dressing on the salad was not well balanced, extremely sour, and had nearly whole radishes/parsnips on the plate. The foie gras was undercooked and overly sweet (apples, crumble, a sweet sauce). As a naturally sweet meat, it needed something to balance the palate. Ricotta fritters are really delicious, but almost feel like a carnival food with very little ricotta. The restaurant is nice and decor is clean, but the ambiance is a bit dark and almost feels like you are in a basement.
As a pastry chef, and my partner being a Michelin level server, we are a bit critical. The restaurant is nice, but a bit of a let down if you’re expecting every bite to be delicious. 10/10 recommend the chocolate soufflé though
The service is outstanding, the food was wonderful, the wine pairings thoughtful - I recommend No. 9 Park to anyone for a quiet and wonderful evening.
Absolutely phenomenal. My twin sister and I were there to celebrate a birthday after the reopening from Covid and I felt pretty comfortable dining with the precautions they had in place as well as spaced seating.
There was only a prix-fixe menu available but every single dish was incredible. I started with the raw bar platter with 4 oysters and 2 jumbo shrimp. Best oysters I've had in my life. Mid-course I had the garganelli with rohan duck, and my sister had the tagliatelle. The entree was a wild striped bass and this incredible puree, I think celery root. We both had the honey and mascarpone for desert, which they served with little candles in them. We put them out with our fingers! Haha, we didn't want to blow germs on the table.
Also I'm not normally a drinker but the cocktails were beautifully done.
Absolutely amazing dining experience. Hands-down best restaurant in Boston.
Unique and exceptional culinary experience, great for date night
Lovely meal and excellent wine service. Always a pleasure to visit No. 9 Park!
Fantastic meal at No. 9. Our first visit since the pandemic and it was everything we had hoped and more. It was definitely different - but the food and drink did not disappoint.
Wonderful overall - perfect spot for a special date!
