On an elegant West End Terrace, not far from the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Stockbridge area, No.35 at The Bonham Restaurant is a character rich dining room, which combines classical elegance with the contemporary.

Not your ordinary hotel restaurant

The wood panelled restaurant is an intimate, distinctive and cosy retreat. Following an extensive refurbishment, No.35 blends traditional elements, luxurious fabrics and timely touches that reflect the original Georgian roots of the building. A fabulous place to dine at the end of a busy day’s shopping and sightseeing in Edinburgh.

Great experience overall. Initial seating was a bit awkward, couldn’t enter through #35 entrance and had to go through hotel lobby instead and were told to just go in. Once we were actually shown to our seats, service and food was great. Selection of tea was excellent, food was great. Asked for a bday token during reservation and they did take care of that.

I have dined with yourselves before and this time I felt the attention to detail was not as good. The table was left with wine droplets and crumbs between courses, we had to ask to have the table tidied, whereas before this would have been attended to quickly without asking. The staff were very friendly but not as attentive as before.

Enjoyed another fabulous Boozy Snoozy lunch to celebrate a friend's 75th birthday. My favourite place to go for a special occasion or just because I can. Food is always outstanding as is the excellent service provided by the staff. Coffee after in the library adds the finishing touch. Considering wine is included it is excellent value. I'll be back.

Lovely place. Service was impeccable as was the food. My wife and I, along with My mother in law, who is 90, we’re commemorating my wife’s fathers birthday as he passed last year. He loved the Bonhan and always wanted to return.
