Food is amazing . Staff are super attentive
Niwa is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. The food is always stellar and consistent, service is some of the highest possible (especially Cecelia) and the atmosphere is just so alive, you can't help but love it.
Went here for my moms birthday and it was so fun. It was very lit on a Monday night with music playing and a big crowd. Took us a few minutes after our reservation to get our seats and then took a while to get our order put in. It is pretty loud inside but had a blast making the food and eating. The drinks were also very delicious and a good pour. Overall, I’d come here for a third time!
A friend suggested Niwa for my husband’s birthday get together. Not only was service great, but ALL the food was phenomenal, a great value and fun to make! We look forward to coming back soon!
We had a wonderful first time experience. Our waitress was so helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. We enjoyed the cooking experience, and the meat and vegetables were very tasty. The sauces were very good, as well. We will definitely be back.
Food was beyond delicious, and service was impeccable.
Amazing food and service! I should know, I work here ;3
Absolutely, delicious! Will definitely be going there again.
I had a great time I always enjoy my dinner at Niwa it is delicious and just an all around great experience. My servers are always on it even though the restaurant gets super busy.
Very impressive array of bbq
Third visit and plan to come back every time we are in Dallas. We want to try everything on the menu and we are getting there! Everything is delicious, drinks tasty, great service and reasonable. Plus the dining experience is fun!
Food was delicious. Meats are good quality. Ambiance is awesome. It was a little cold in the restaurant. The two Japanese Wagyu meats were not good at all. Too chewy. The domestic Wagyu was very good though! Ribeye cap was delicious. And the SMOKED FILET MIGNON WAS THE BEST.
Best general manager around. Always exceptional service.
Everything was delicious!! Definitely need to get the deviled eggs!!
I have a wonderful experience every time I go. Paying to cook my own food is genius lol.
The food selection is good. Quality meats and vegetables.
The atmosphere is relaxed.
Went out for a date night. The service was good and the food was delicious.
I would highly recommend this restaurant!
one of the best restaurants i’ve ever been to. The experience is great and so is the food!
Temperature was freezing for everyone in our party.
We enjoyed Niwa for my son’s 17th birthday, and had a GREAT experience! The service, food, ambiance and value was unexpected and fabulous! We were hesitant going to the Deep Ellum district on a Friday night, but everything from easily finding close parking, getting right in and seated at our table, and having phenomenal service and of course to top it off - the food and experience of cooking it at the table was a pure pleasure. The teenagers and adults equally had a great experience. I can’t recommend Niwa highly enough. Thanks for the great time!!
BBQ food quality was good. Veges and beef fresh and prepped for grilling. Good cocktails. Could use a fish item or two beyond shrimp. Maybe lobster or crab would be fun.. service staff was excellent
First time finding real Japanese style Yakiniku in Dallas. Traveled to Japan many times and yakiniku there countless times. Really enjoyed my time at Niwa.
Food was good but the service was not great. We had a 745 reservation and didn’t get sat until 840. (And this was a Monday night not a weekend) No one tried to make the experience more enjoyable and the hostesses were far from accommodating. They didn’t check on us at all and we had to keep asking if are table was ready. There was a line of people by the door and they were on their phones. Overall not great service given the price point.
Niwa is one of our favorite places to eat, we enjoy the service and good is great
Wonderful and delicious food. Our sever was amazing.
We had a great experience at Niwa... and I use the word "experience" intentionally here. The food, service, and ambiance were great... but it was the experience that made the evening special. Cooking your own food together is a fun and interactive way to engage with your family & friends. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful, and he helped us navigate a delicious meal. I would highly recommend this experience.
Imagine a world where you couldn’t see for 99 years and then you were awakened with vivid colors on acid. That’s Niwa. The A5 wagyu tasted like, what I can only describe as, making love for all 72 hours of a 3 day getaway to Fiji would taste like. Iconic, legendary, and a must visit for anyone living or visiting Dallas.
Great food, great service. We found this place at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised at how great the experience was.
The food and our waitress was excellent
I enjoyed the experience overall!
Very lively. Great food and our surfer was great. I cannot complain.
Amazing and life-change as always. Still our favorite in the world!
Very slow and mostly absent waiter. Took forever to get anything.
We had a wonderful time at Niwa! Food was delicious, service was attentive. Great way to celebrate a bday!
Food was fantastic drinks were delicious. Place had a good feel and lots of ppl inside. Only thing that I didn’t like was the loud EDM music playing the entire time. I don’t wanna hear the bass drop 100x when I’m trying to eat my food. My server could barley hear me and vise versa.
Not just a meal bun an experience. My daughter and I went for a girls night out, and it was great! The food was delish!
Loved the food! It was a fun interactive dining experience. Our server did a great job explaining everything and giving recommendations. We will definitely be back!
Customer service is and was trash
