   Nice decor, waiter was very friendly. Food was very tasty. Had to send one dish back due to being cold, and there was about a 5-7 min gap when the first and third entree came out, which was odd for a place like this. The value for food wasn’t great, it was expensive and the portions were small. But the real issue is that not only did they charge $5 for iced tea, but they charged for each refill. So my table of three literally spent $20 on iced tea. Never again.

   I selected this for a birthday celebration, and it was a great choice. The food was outstanding, and our server was attentive. The only disappointment was that our outdoor seating request was denied. We were told the seats were "reserved." Upon arrival, ample seating was available, and upon leaving, even more seating was available. So unsure why we were denied our seating request.

   This is one of the best restaurants in Durham! The food, the atmosphere, the service are all outstanding!

   Our service experience at Nikos this evening was exceptional. I was floored by the level of personal, gracious care we received. Our dishes were memorable, balanced, and well-presented. We couldn’t have been more comfortable on our own patio at home. A real treat to invest in dining out and feel like it was truly a special treat. Thank you!

   Food was fantastic. Our server, Niko (coincidence, not the namesake) was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

   We had the high top chef’s table for our family brunch. We enjoyed creative cocktails and mock tails with crispy calamari , zucchini cakes and the flaming saganski - Opa! The food was delicious! The short rib grilled cheese was a group favorite. My mom and enjoyed the seafood salad with arugula and the perfect lemon dressing. My daughter had the bannan french toast special with bacon wrapped banana - every bite disappeared.

   Our waiter, Alex, was excellent. Our branzino was quite good and enough for the two of us. It was a great meal!

    First time here and based on the google reviews thought we were going to have a better experience. Atmosphere is super cute. Place was certainly understaffed so I think the people working that night were doing the best they could so will preface the service with that. Food was overpriced for what you get, simple as that. Biggest complaint were the large dishes. Spreads and small plates were good but also overpriced. Found a produce label in one of our large dishes so that’s immediately off putting. Taste was ‘ok’ at best. The ‘lead server’ (in quotes because I’m guessing it was whoever drew the short straw that night) came to check on us and we voiced our complaint. He ran through the I’m sorry speech and that was that. Manager came over towards the end we said things were ok and he proceeded to tell us about brunch on the weekends. I’d say everything was ‘fine.’ Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back for the price, quality, or service.
