Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

Trenton was our server and i can't express enough how greatcof a service he provided for me and my fiance. We have an amazing dinner and overall experience. His thorough knowledge of everything on the menu help tailor the perfect dining experience. Pus his personality is 20/10!! We got to try a little bit of everything and we definitely will be back for more. I highly recommend this for an foodie or customer looking to experience an exquisite flavorful experience.

The cocktails on the provided menu were really good. Later, my wife ordered a gin and tonic and it tasted like gin over ice, so it’s confusing they can put together delicious complex cocktails, but can’t make a simple g and t? The food was incredibly okay. We got sold on some fritters that were incredibly greasy and tasted like pure fried batter. Such a lack of corn and other ingredients in the batter. For dinner, we shared the scallops that were incredible and also shared the duck. The duck was tiny, overcooked, and over salted. I don’t mind paying for smaller portions when the food is outstanding, but that just isn’t the case here. It’s quite clear that you are paying premium prices for a view and the fact it’s in a nice hotel. I would stay at the hotel, visit Nido for drinks, but have dinner elsewhere.

Nido has an amazing view of downtown Austin and LadyBird Lake. It is a wonderful place for a special night out. The service was the best, couldn’t ask for better. Food was delicious. Food portions are on the small side but wonderfully prepared.

A nice place for drinks. Wow this place has a fantastic view. But they are leaning into that a bit to hard. The food was underwhelming and disappointing. I was thinking about the food from at least ten other restaurants in Austin that i wish Nido was serving last night. Great place, I hope the food improves.

We had a lot about this place especially about the view of LBJ lake. That turned out to be true. However, the food and drinks were fabulous too. We had the Octopus Carpacchio, Hamachi Som Tam and Corn Fritters. All were excellent. Cocktails were perfect! I had the Norwegian Wood. Initially sat inside but towards the end, they seated us outside as we had requested. Great service!

El lugar muy lindo, excelente vista y la atención bien, de repente se tardaba en traer refrescos o se nos perdía el mesero, el menú no viene explicado cada plato así que tienes que preguntar porque asumimos unas cosas y eran otras, no está mal pero la comida solo bien, no es que se me antoje volver a ir por la comida. El vaso donde nos sirvieron agua olía feo
