Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    The food is not much as we expect. But the free desert is really out of our expectation and gave us a pleasant surprise. I appreciate your arrangement of signed greeting card and the dessert. They made my day! If the dinner menu is not so expensive, we will come again at dinner time.

    Nido has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. With stunning views of downtown and the river, plus cozy, well-designed seating, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed yet elevated meal. We loved everything we ordered — the smoked salmon hash, B.E.C. on a roll, and avocado toast were all creative takes on the classics, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Our waitress struck the perfect balance: attentive without being intrusive, giving us space to enjoy our time without ever feeling rushed. The staff at The Loren hotel were equally impressive — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their friendly energy and thoughtful small talk made it clear they take pride in their work. Overall, Nido delivered on every front. I’ll definitely be back for the next special occasion — or just a beautiful brunch with friends.

    Every time I come here, I am always impressed. Our server was exceptional; he was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We came here on a Saturday evening and sat on the terrace to enjoy the amazing views. We started with two mezcal negronis, blistered shishitos, and fries. The garlic aioli served with the fries was so delicious that we asked for more. The blistered shishito peppers came with a side of umami-rich garum aioli that we saved for dipping fries in. The proportions were perfect to snack on while we waited for the main course. We split the crab agnolotti; the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the filling burst with flavor. They accidentally brought out the scallops instead, but let us keep them as we waited for our crab dish. The pesto served with the scallops was the star of the show (we also kept some of it for what fries we had left!). Needless to say, we were full and satisfied! I will continue to come back to this lovely establishment in the future. Thanks y'all!

    Great location, ambience, food (redfish, grilled chicken, crab agnolotti), drinks (wine and Norwegian Wood cocktail) and staff (Brady). Had a relaxing dinner with a great city view. It was everything advertised. Highly recommended.

    Amazing place and amazing food! Server didn’t need to explain the entire menu dish by dish. Server didn’t need to shake all 4 of our hands before we left. Pure cringe service. Amazing view and food however! Stop asking people multi times if they want to do caviar bumps. That’s ANNOYING. 1 no means NO.
