Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    A nice place for drinks. Wow this place has a fantastic view. But they are leaning into that a bit to hard. The food was underwhelming and disappointing. I was thinking about the food from at least ten other restaurants in Austin that i wish Nido was serving last night. Great place, I hope the food improves.

    El lugar muy lindo, excelente vista y la atención bien, de repente se tardaba en traer refrescos o se nos perdía el mesero, el menú no viene explicado cada plato así que tienes que preguntar porque asumimos unas cosas y eran otras, no está mal pero la comida solo bien, no es que se me antoje volver a ir por la comida. El vaso donde nos sirvieron agua olía feo

    The service was horrible, I had to go find the server for our table after waiting for 25 minutes. After she served our food, she was no where to be found, I had to look her again 20 minutes after we finished our dinner. It boggles my mind how a great restaurant can have such poor service.

    I recently stayed at the hotel and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The property itself is stunning, with thoughtfully designed spaces and a variety of inviting seating options. We chose to dine at the restaurant in the lounge, which offered an eclectic, casual atmosphere paired with sweeping views of downtown Austin — a perfect setting for a relaxed evening. The service was both warm and professional, striking a balance that made us feel genuinely taken care of. Our drinks were expertly crafted, with a strong attention to detail and flavor. The food was beautifully presented and even more impressive in taste — each dish was thoughtfully prepared and delivered bold, balanced flavors that truly reflect the high standards of Austin’s vibrant culinary scene. The experience continued the next morning with breakfast, which was equally impressive. Every item we ordered was fresh, delicious, and elegantly plated, rounding out our stay on a high note. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. it’s a standout destination for anyone looking to enjoy excellent service, great ambiance, and top-tier cuisine in the heart of Austin.

    Overall fantastic place. Great view and ambience. Only place where it lost the 5th star is that it was very difficult to get the Server’s attention. After having my hand up for quite some time, I finally resorted to getting another server to listen to us. But then the original server later returned and deliberately pointed out multiple times that we got another server’s help. This made us uncomfortable. Either be attentive or don’t be mad if the customer resorts to alternatives.

    I ordered 2 Non Alc drinks that were delicious though pricey. Mahi-mahi was excellent with unique complimentary flavors. A little loud. We didn’t request a seating location and should have been asked to be seated near the windows. Total miss. Would have added to the experience.

    The service was great. Food was good. The view was fantastic. Outdoor sitting was fantastic. The staff was very attentive. Raymond was great. It was a special occasion for us, and they made it special.
