   The ambiance was top notch for sure. Views of Austin are impeccable. Service amazing, kinda slow but it’s expected at fine dining establishments. My husband had the Mahi Mahi and he loved it, I thought it was over cooked but I kept it to myself. We had the Gem Lettus and it was amazing, great flavor combinations. I had the Lamb Ragu and it was ok. The dish lacked depth in flavor, color and texture. The sauce looked watered down. I can say my bar was set high for this dish so I may be biased. I would go back but maybe try something different. I can say our waiter suggested I try a different dish when I asked what his thoughts were on the Lamb Ragu. I should have listened to him.

   The setting, ambiance and service at Nido are 5 star! The view alone is worth it. The beet tartar was 5 star. However the mahi-mahi somewhat disappointed as it was a little fishy. The pasta dish was very well prepared though. But is is a great place for a romantic meal.

   The setting is beautiful and has an incredible view. Great place to go have a drink and enjoy the view. If you are looking for good food, this is not it. The portions are small, the prices inflated, the presentation sloppy, and the quality just ok. It’s not bad but not worth $36-60 a plate. I ordered scallops which were $40 and was told by the waitress it would be three large scallops. What I got was a messy plate of asparagus and leeks topped with slices of 2 scallops scattered on the plate. Firstly, the scallops were cooked well, but they shouldn’t have been sliced. If they are they should be sliced with Sushi grade perfection. They were sliced haphazardly and mangled in the process. My wife ordered the lamb ragú which was ok. The sauce was almost non existent and they “ran out” of the right kind of pasta and substituted either shell pasta so not sure if it would have been better, but it was 5:15 so they shouldn’t t have run out at the beginning of dinner service. The waitress was great. We won’t be back. $180 dinner with an appetizer and two entres and two drinks. It should be fabulous for that. It wasn’t.

   Nido was a great experience I was seated outside and the atmosphere was amazing looking over the city of Austin. Service was great and friendly staff!!!

   I decided to come here for my birthday dinner as I have always wanted to try it and finally had a reason! When I arrived, I was a little early so I checked in and sat at the bar until my table was ready. When they went to seat me they had these little cards signed by all the staff that said happy birthday on it, which was a very nice touch. Although u couldn’t sit outside to really enjoy the view, my table was right by the windows so I got to enjoy it anyway. The waitress was friendly, but would sometimes disappear for a while which was stressful towards the end as I had another event to go to and needed to close out. The tuna tartare was absolutely delicious and I would go back just for that. Although the pasta dish was small, it was still very filling. Overall, enjoyed myself and the food and would definitely go back

   The food was ok it missed flavor. The sauce that came to my fish was dry. The tuna for appetizer had too much cheese and it was brought to the table in 3 minutes, looks like it was ready in the fridge
