We were a party of five for lunch. The atmosphere was upbeat and inviting. The food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. We ordered some seasonal dishes which were fresh and tasty. Our server was experienced, knowledgeable and attentive. We had a great time. Everyone would return. Thank you for running a terrific operation.

This weekend I stopped by Nico & I can’t wait to go back. My server/bartender was attentive, helpful, & made delicious drinks. I ordered honey butter biscuits, chicken ceaser salad, & a side of fries to pick on and everything was a 10/10, especially the salad. Will definitely be returning.

We had a really nice dinner here. The server was very attentive and friendly. Out drinks were very flavorful and looked great. Our entrees were delicious, came out quickly and were just the right size. Even the manager stopped by to make sure everything was going well. We'll be back!

We dined at NICO Kitchen + Bar the first week of August when we visited Newark and what an amazing find! The restaurant has it all…friendly courteous staff that serves delicious food! The Moroccan salad was elegant and flavorful while the tortellini with béchamel sauce and lump crab meat was divine. The home made pizza was a hit with the kids! The atmosphere is airy and fun. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Honestly the food was horrible. The bar area is cute but the rest of the restaurant is sort of like being in a cafeteria Service was slow and the drinks are the size of the size of thimbles. Such a waste

Went here for dinner and drinks before a comedy show at NJPAC. The food was amazing, the presentation was great. We got the hot honey wings, and salmon for dinner. Both were amazing - very flavorful. Drinks were great. Great place to go for dinner and drinks!

Phenomenal service and a very homely environment! As a devoted Muslim, I asked the bartender to surprise me with a nice virgin drink and he hit it on the spot with his concoction of liquids. The servers and Manager were constantly checking up on me and making sure I was enjoying my experience. The food was impeccable and came out in a timely fashion. Looking forward to my next time visit!

Needs to have better parking for customers. The bar area could be noisy and a problem for folks dining in that area. The menu was so,so. Needs a few local items that can identify with the area,and be a conversation piece. The staff was excellent. Maya was great ,lovely service.

Overall we had a really great experience and even better food. Everything was cooked to our specification and the staff was spectacular. The drinks were sensational & our server Maya provided us with an immaculate service, which really tied the evening all together. For that I thank you & we will be back very soon !

Slow service even though it wasn’t crowded. There was no bread available. One guest with a salt allergy asked for her salmon to be prepared without salt. It was served very salty. This was corrected about 45 minutes later with a no salt salmon. A soup was served that was very peppery, but that wasn’t part of the description.

The food was excellent. The service was pleasant, friendly, and professional. We felt a little rushed to wrap up lunch and take the bill although the restaurant was quiet. Overall a pleasant experience and we will return.

I appreciate that all food is listed for GF, dairy free and vegan. The risotto was unremarkable, as was the gnocchi bolognese. Needed seasoning. We wondered how the other dishes were that were on the menu.

I wanted to love it here, but didn't. Reserved 2 seats before a show @ NJPAC for convenience. Drinks were pretty good. The chicken dish was layered in grease/oil and the lamb shank lacked flavor. SO DISAPPOINTED!! Servers were kind but overwhelmed. Two thumbs down...would not order entrees in the future. Overpriced for what they're offering.

Not too many choices.. expensive. Burger and fries was good and a big plate.. good thing because I had to share with my daughter because she sent her lamb back. No favor. Chicken wings had nice tasty skin. But no flavor once you bit in to it.

Service was outstanding. Would not recommend the gnocchi ragu. My husband seemed to enjoy the burger. The restaurant is very open and almost seemed like a cafeteria. However it’s convenient for grabbing a bite before a show.

This place has recently started adding new items to their menu, and I am all for it! The service is good and the staff is great. The soup was spicy, but a pleasant surprise for me as I love spice. The dessert we had (bread pudding) was also the right amount of sweet. I also highly recommend the Frozé as an alcoholic drink. I am excited to see what they add next, heres hopping for deviled eggs.

Nice environment for dinner. Service was decent. Food took a little long to come, but Carlos, the manager, was very accommodating and took the time to make sure we were satisfied. The steak and the salmon were perfectly cooked. Dinner was great.
