The food (back eyed pea soup, caesar salad, gnocchi, skillet fried chicken, brownie ala mode) was all excellent, especially the fried chicken. We were there on a Sunday after an event at the HJPAC so only the small room with the bar and a section of the larger dining room were being utilized. We were sat (45 minutes prior to our reservation) in the dining room by a very friendly hostess. As we were only one of four or five tables in the room, the noise level was very low (it was much noisier in the front room with the bar as it was full). As with the hostess, our server (Tania) and the bus staff (one of whom bore a striking resemblance to the actor who portrayed Angel on Pose) were friendly, attentive, and kind. Dessert and tea was on the house as an apology for the delay in our meal (which we didn't even notice) resulting from some miscommunication in the kitchen (another table had the exact same entree orders as us and ours was initial mistaken as a duplicate order). Overall a very nice dining experience and we will absolutely visit again when we are in the area.

I go to Nico’s at least three or four times a year when I attend the symphony and the food is always better than average & the atmosphere is energetic. This evening had some issues because after 2 of the 4 of us had the soup course, we didn’t see our main course for 25 minutes. Not only did it ruin the overall experience, but it actually prevented us from getting dessert and made it a close call for getting to the 8PM show next-door.

No place is more convenient than NICO's if attending a concert at NJPAC. My friends and I agree that the quality of this restaurant has risen dramatically in the short time since Covid that it is back in operation. In fact, we feel it is the best we have experienced since starting to come here long before Covid. The only problem is that you have to reserve weeks early if you want to get a seat.

Nice, spacious setting, large windows for natural lighting. Hostess, servers, food all of top quality. Responded to request to tone music level down. -- thank you. Recommend the gnocchi bolognese and wonderful beet salad.

Convenient to NJPAC and priced accordingly. Caesar salads were delicious. Service was terrible. Wine was not what we ordered and it was not corrected. Had to wait over 15 minutes for the 4th meal, which was salmon as were 2 others that were already served. There was a great deal of waiting. Bill was incorrect and took some time to rectify.

This restaurant was outstanding. Our server, Jenifer, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The happy hour martinis were perfectly prepared. We selected two dinner entrees. The lamb shank was flavorful and juicy. It was a welcomed meal on a cold and rainy night. The New York strip was done to my perfect temperature selection. The sidewinder potatoes were delicious. We accompanied our dinner with glasses of wine. Both were great. The price value here is excellent. When we return to NJPAC, it will be Nico's again.

The food and service was excellent. My water r recommended the biscuits and they were delicious, served with honey cinnamon butter! I gave four stars only because, as a vegetarian, I am tired of eating risotto or eggplant Parmesan. I had the salad with grains, which was top notch, however, I would have preferred another choice.

We always look forward to dining at Nico's before attending a show at NJPAC. The food selection is always unique and exceptional. Last night, the Roasted Chicken and the Leg of Lamb was wonderful. We arrived during Happy Hour and ordered two "Bourbon and Ginger" We had a lovely dinner and dessert. When our check arrived, not only had we been charged full price ($28) for our drinks but also an additional $4 for the Gingerale! We have never seen this done before! When we asked why, we were told that the bar adds it to the tab! The server then "adjusted it" by $7 only. This was quite unusual for Nico's, but we had a show to attend and my husband didn't want to make a scene. To answer your next question... I am choosing YES but with hesitation. -A Messina

The service was amazing! Disney-level amazing. Funny enough, I don't remember the last time I was in a restaurant and noted the service experience. From the hostesses at the door, to the multiple servers who attended to our needs...and even others we asked general questions to...it is clear that Nico's has invested in training their customer-facing team and cares about the dining experience. The team who was on staff on 11/16/23 was PERFECT. We'll definitely visit again soon. Thank you!

I love everything about Nicos! Great mocktails and cocktails. This time since I had a late lunch, I only had the celery root soup with truffle oil, their signature sidewinder fries and shared wings with my husband! It was just perfect! Their food is FRESH add DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection with care! The staff is beyond professional and kind! .#LOVE

We arrived at 5:45, just in time to enjoy drinks (a cocktail for my husband; a glass of wine for myself) at half price. We sat in the lounge area, shared a tasty appetizer (Shrimp Bruschetta) and each had a main. Though the menu isn’t extensive, there’s enough to satisfy a range of tastes and preferences. The food was delish, the service professional and friendly, and the ambiance cozy. Competitive prices. Very pleased!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nico’s restaurant this past Sunday evening. We had been to the NJPAC performance of the Strings Lucerne group with Midori as the outstanding violin soloist. The atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the attention of the waitress was all perfect, and I certainly would recommend Nicos to anyone looking for a place to eat before or after a concert and NJPAC.

Had a wonderful meal and very enjoyable experience dining at Nico’s before seeing a comedy show at NJPAC. Carlos, the General Manager, was warm and welcoming and definitely enhanced our visit. Our server was also excellent. The food was delicious including the evening’s special pizza, the roast chicken and the autumn grain bowl. Looking forward to returning.

We dined at Nico prior to seeing a show at NJPAC. It was so convenient being in the same building so we didn't have to worry about parking then re-parking. The service was friendly and attentive and the food as delicious. Highly recommend the biscuits!

The apps and drinks were delicious. The salmon was okay. The last time I went (a few months prior) the salmon was delicious. Could’ve been an off day. Overall it was good and would go back.

Made reservations to eat here before we went to the show inside NJPAC. Our server (Juan) was extremely professional with his approach, attitude, & attention to detail. He offered the seasonal dish & even explained to me the dish I was thinking about & eventually ordered. Seating in the back room was spacious, food & drinks were good. Would dine here again if we happen to have another event.

We were a party of five for lunch. The atmosphere was upbeat and inviting. The food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. We ordered some seasonal dishes which were fresh and tasty. This weekend I stopped by Nico & I can’t wait to go back. My server/bartender was attentive, helpful, & made delicious drinks. I ordered honey butter biscuits, chicken ceaser salad, & a side of fries to pick on and everything was a 10/10, especially the salad. Will definitely be returning.
