   As always, the food was exceptional and so was the service. The only issue we had was the noise level was extraordinarily high. Would be great if the restaurant could have some sound absorption placed on the walls as Voice is bounced off the walls and carried.

   We had such a great time here. It was our first time & it did not disappoint. The food!! For an appetizer we got the Margarita pizza. It was yummy, but they could have added more than 3 strips of basil lol. We also both got the petite filet with the salad & soup (forget the name of the dish) & it was so yummy! You can’t substitute anything on the dish for mashed potatoes so we got a side of it — perfect compliment to our main course. For dessert we had the buttercake & man oh man — best thing on we had there! It was the perfect combo & savory & sweet. I’m still dreaming of it. Our waitress brought out a chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary (so sweet, of them- not the cake lol). It was yummy but nothing beats the butter cake. Can’t wait to try out another location. I forget our waitress’ name but she & the other staff we encountered were professional & kind. Thanks for the great experience!

   The butter cake is insane. I usually don’t start with desert but with this dish you 100% could. Shrimp taquitos were outstanding. I had the Sea Bass which was incredible. My friend had the burger. Can’t go wrong with any Nick’s.

    Had a lovely birthday meal on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere is very charming and upbeat, but the noise level was definitely very high. Food was delicious and the portions were on point. The service was exceptional, which makes up for everything in my book! Will be coming back as regulars frequently.

   The best meal I’ve had in a while. Perfect amount for 3, with a bit for a snack at home: Asparagus fries Sourdough bread French onion soup Petite bistro salad Sea bass

   The food is excellent. Crispy fried chicken is delicious! The asparagus fries are great! All of their pizzas are fantastic! Steak is perfect! Oh, the Thai noodle salad is my favorite salad! I love that there is minimal noise in the restaurant. … I can’t even recall if there is music in the background. How nice to be able to talk to and hear friends without straining! The service is wonderful. So attentive without being intrusive. And it wasn’t just our server, it appeared that all the servers had the same attentive professional mannerism. The team just flows so nicely. I would highly recommend Nick’s on Lake in Pasadena .. nice gem for delicious food, quiet atmosphere, modern fine dining ambience, and great services ◡̈

   We were very impressed with Nick’s. The food was delicious and the service? They aim to please. Excellent wait staff. The restaurant is quite big but it manages to maintain an intimate setting - at least where we sat. (Upstairs) We were able to have a conversation because luckily the music was not too loud. Bravo!! And we all noticed a major plus: We Were Not Rushed!! Thank you. We’ll be back
