Niche began its story ten years ago when the historic post office in picturesque downtown Geneva was transformed into a space to bring the community a new source of culinary enlightenment. The response to our quest was well received and encouraged the evolving staff to continually strive for perfection. Delving farther into the traditions of the Earth’s diverse cultures, our goal is to balance the exotic with the familiar. Global diversification of ideas and practices introduces guests to a whole new experience each time they dine with us.  An accompaniment to our rotating menu ranging from Small Plates to well orchestrated Entrees is an impressive list of carefully selected beer, wine, and spirits.

Jeffery was great!! We've eaten here a number of times and Niche never fails to impress! We even just stop by the bar and have the appetizers which are just as good as the entrees.

Unfathomable that it has taken me ten years to dine at Niche. Food was outstanding, drinks were a mixed bag of reasonable to kooky . . . . $11 for a Tito's martini and only $9 for Duvel were relative bargains, versus $22 per glass for Laurent-Perrier Brut ($40/bottle retail). I guess that isn't that ridiculous. Either way, the experience, other than the pricey, semi-underwhelming soup, was top notch. Service was excellent. Cheese plate was a bang up starter. Salad of purple kale was delicious. Soup, as mentioned, a bit underwhelming for the $9.50 price. Scallops perfectly done though the couscous they were perched upon was a tad soft. Pork tenderloin was properly cooked and had enjoyably smoky accompaniments. Cotton candy and a Blanton's bourbon were a more than fun way to wrap up the night. Will definitely return as soon as humanly possible.

This restaurant delivers such a personal experience! Very intimate feeling. As a diner with celiac disease I always feel safe eating here and the kitchen is outstanding.

Not a fan of restaurants where you sit on top of other people and hear their entire conversation. I also had to send a drink back to the bar because it was awful. Food was meh... way overpriced. Limited menu. Overall, won't be returning and wouldn't recommend.

A wonderful experience; crowd is diverse enough to make anyone feel comfortable, jeans to suit and tie all are welcome. Food prices are fair; however, drinks and wine are a little escalated. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Brand new waitress, didn’t know the menu and was super slow. Food was ok. I asked for my steak butterflied and super well done, minus the ciopollini onions. For $51 it didn’t even come close. On a busy Saturday night I wasn’t going to send it back. Instead I had it boxed to take home. First time taking my daughter there and it was a big disappointment, I was almost embarrassed after talking it up to her.

The food is incredible and the service is always great. We are not wine drinkers but I can speak to a large beer selection. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Food was great ! My date ordered 2 drinks that she didn’t like and sent both back still ended up on bill . Manager was super rude , more I ever experienced in my life . Won’t be back until manager is fired !!!

My husband and I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and loved it. We ordered the striped bass and it was superb, including the accompaniments. We also highly recommend the caramelized roasted brussels sprouts… They were delicious! We will definitely be back.

There was no heat in the restaurant and they made no effort to make us aware of this fact until I inquired. We spent $160 dollars to celebrate my birthday and we were shivering with our coats on. Very disappointing.

We had a difficult time selecting what we wanted to eat since we would have chosen all of the options. We had an appetizer (muscles)m shared the outstanding soup, had a dessert and main meal. We have not had this great a meal in a very long time...and we consider ourselves foodies.

This was spectacular! From the wine/cocktails to the mussel appetizer to the scallops and cobb salad! Our waitress was excellent! Truly a wonderful experience. We will be back!

There's a reason this restaurant is ranked as on of the best in the Chicago suburbs. Great craft cocktails and possibly the best filet I've ever had. Geneva's Third Street (where this is located) is it's own wonderful destination. Plan to hang out before or after dinner.

I liked Niche but not as much as I wanted to. My ribeye steak was $65.00 and came with grilled peppers and french fries. There was not special's card to denote that it would be $65.00 so i was in sticker shock but then again their filet is over $50. I think that for the price point this restaurant sits at ($190.00 before tip for two with 2 entrees, 1 soup, 1 salad, 1 dessert, 3 drinks, 1 coffee), the food should be much more stunning. It's not bad, just overpriced and the atmosphere for the dining area is crowded and bar-like. Meh. Oh, and i told them when i made the reservations and to the server that it was my husband's birthday, and we received two 1/3rd filled glasses of champagne. I suppose that's classy but again, eh. My margarita was good! I'd go back for bar and an inexpensive salad or appetizer, maybe.

Niche is one-of-a-kind! Our party of 4 went on a Thursday night to take advantage of the half off wine, but we were blown away with the food! We ordered the sausage and cheese boards, the fried chicken, a side of Brussels sprouts and French fries and a delicious soup. Everything was so well prepared and so flavorful. Our faves were the cheese board, the fried chicken and the Hear the Sirens dessert! We will be returning to this restaurant!

My wife and I have celebrated several occasions at Niche over the years and have never been disappointed. From the food to the staff everything is top notch. Some of the best beer and bourbon selections anywhere. Together with Vie, these two restaurants represent the best dining in the suburbs.

Niche is our favorite date night spot! The food is always so fresh and seasoned perfectly! I am super picky about where to get shellfish and fish but Niche prepares it perfectly every time. The service is prompt and attentive as well. Thanks Niche for another amazing meal!

This was our first visit to Niche, but we will definitely return. The fried chicken and grits small plate was amazing as was the hake fish item.
