What a gem! This tiny restaurant impresses from start to finish. The food is exceptional, a service to match and the wine list works perfectly. This is ideal if you want something different, personal and reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience would recommend. Delicious food and wine. They were happy to accommodate my allergies (diary & gluten) and the food was delicious. Loved the restaurant. It was just a shame so many Brits know about it!

Great food and ambiance. I am coeliac and the chef made sure I have the same amazing experience with gluten-free options. This place is really good and I would 100% recommend it. Thank for the staff for the amazing service.

This was a wonderful experience. Relaxed but expert service from a very knowledgeable waiter. Delicious tasting menu with very interesting and well judged wine pairings. Flavour, texture and balance in every dish. An oyster with peach granita, fried basil and lemon roe was the amuse bouche. A delicious hint of what was to come. You will not be disappointed! Great restaurant!

Each dish was beautifully presented, creative, interesting, wine list, and pairings. Our waiter did amazing job, taking care of the whole restaurant. I had an orange Pinot Grigio from Serbia that went brilliantly with fish with leeks and toasted hazelnuts. Friends had tuna with beets and black berry sauce.

We ordered the tasting menu with wine paring. The food started with a single oyster in its salty brine with a passion fruit sauce, which set a delicious tone for the wonderful meal that continued to unfold with a nice balance of wines. The armpsphere was casual and fun with everyone enjoying the food and vibe. Beautiful presentation for each course...and why not have two desserts? Loved it!

There are no words to say how amazing this place is. Honestly not sure why it isn’t Michelin-starred… Each course was a unique blend of flavors that left us wanting second helpings. The vibe was so cool- laid-back without being too casual, super intimate, and welcoming. We also went to Palais Royal restaurant while in Paris (which has 2 Michelin stars), and Nellu’s dishes outshined the former (and at a fraction of the price). Highly, highly recommend.

I booked a table at Nellu after passing during a short trip to Paris, and wanted to treat myself to a special meal out. The food and experience did not disappoint! The 7 course menu with wine pairing flowed seamlessly and I loved watching the happenings of the street as the evening wound down. The food was expertly considered, with texture and flavour balancing well and always made me wish for one more bite before the next course arrived. Thanks for a lovely evening to all the team.

I heard about this restaurant from many “top” lists and wanted to try before leaving Paris. I did the tasting menu which was very good food. I wasn’t blown away and while it’s a gastronomic menu there should have been 2-3 more courses to the “7 course” tasting menu which included literally, a few courses which were spoon fulls of food. For the price the ambience was a bit disappointing. Country kitchen wood tables and high top chairs are not my venue of choice at this price point. I think the crowd is geared more towards millennials than X’ers looking for a more quiet and romantic experience. However if you are a foodie and want to be in a trendy place with hip music, don’t mind the high price point, and enjoy gastronomic experiences this definitely is a good choice. I’m happy I went and this is certainly a very authentic place in the Paris scene. If you’re a tourist at this price you may want to go to a restaurant with a spectacular view or more luxurious ambience.

We celebrated our 23rd anniversary sitting outside on a beautiful Paris evening at The Nellu. The Nellu was a culinary delight from start to finish. The chef is top notch and so creative. We loved the 5 fromages, which was out of this world, followed by the artichoke dish and pollock which were both works of culinary art. We ordered both the blueberry tart and strawberry lavender desserts which were to die for. We are pescatarians but the meat dishes seemed to be getting rave reviews as well. Our waiter could not have been nicer and recommended the perfect champagne and was so knowledgeable. He even ran a couple of blocks to give me my phone, which I had left on the table. The Nellu is a must and is in a very fun part of town as well. We will be back! Thank you Open Table, we would not have found this hidden gem without you!

It was a very good experience. The restaurant was a bit more casual than we expected, but it was nice. The chef special was excellent and the wine choices were unique but matched our pairings nicely. Would definitely come back again.

We had an amazing experience at Nellu! The tasting menu was simply magnificent, the chief is a culinary genius! The staff were super pleasant and you could tell that they loved their act in this “play”, explaining each dish in detail and with passion. The wine selections were solid and reasonably priced. On this trip to Paris, this was the top restaurant we dined in, and we look forward to coming back also trying their sister restaurant Tamara. With gratitude
