Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Happy hour and-a-half will offer food and beverage specials weekdays 3pm - 5pm throughout the entire restaurant.

Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

Came back for a second day in a row because we loved it so much. Their daily specials are so good! This time around the service was pretty underwhelming and slow, so I mentioned it to the Chef and the Manager overheard me. He apologized and the Chef gave us several items off-menu and on the house to make up for it. The service was excellent from that point on. I really appreciate the way the addressed and corrected and made sure we had an awesome meal. I will definitely be back.

We sat at the bar with our backs to S. Congress, the staff were very friendly and helped us when we had questions about particular menu items.

The quality of the food is stellar. The service is sub par- disinterested and bored by customers. The entrance is through an alley and parking lot into a pitch black hallway. The attitude matches the aesthetic. Despite the empty restaurant, we were seated in a split cushion booth with no back. It was very uncomfortable. The food was too good for everything else.

The fatty tuna nigiri was the best I’ve had in Austin. The servers were attentive and the rolls were better than I expected. We will be back!
