Considering it wasn’t that busy on the patio for a nice weather Friday evening, the service was less than ideal! It took at least 15 minutes after our arrival for us to even be acknowledge and asked if we wanted to order anything to drink.

Too loud to have a conversation even when sitting far away from speakers at 8pm. Went with the idea that the music would be turned up later on around 10pm however it was extremely hard to speak to people at the table. Service was poor. Had to ask 3 times when our drinks were coming. We had already drank our water and received our food to share. Food was almost finished before our drinks arrived. Only 4 drinks were ordered. Tables were rocky, sticky, and just did not seem tended to. Very disappointing. Paid our tab and found somewhere better.

It was difficult to find the entrance to National on 8th. The way up to the rooftop is long and the way down is even worse. Too many stairs to go down to the exit on the first floor. It is dangerous to go down those stairs if you had too many drinks, as it is usually the case. The music and food were good but the service a little slow.

Everything started off great. Our server was amazing and the food and drinks were great. We settled our bill around 8:30 and stayed until around 12:30. But between 11:30-12:30 two random servers approached us three times claiming we didn’t pay our bill. We explained that we had payed hours ago, and that they were not our servers. I described our server and offered to show my bank statement, but they refused to believe us and thought we were apart of a bachelorette party. They were getting in our face and losing their minds, and then proceeded to tell us to calm down, despite this being the 3rd time we were accused of something that had literally nothing to do with us. I watched one of them go up to a bouncer and point at us and scream her face off about us, but the bouncer seemed unfazed. They walked up to us with a bunch of bills and a machine and expected us to pay them. I understand they were doing their job, but the way they handled the situation and accused us repeatedly was absolutely ridiculous. We have come in almost every weekend since opening, and celebrated my graduation, and plan to celebrate my birthday here, but this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth.

They canceled my reservation even though I called and changed the time but they did not change it and I got there and they had no table for me. Very disappointed with the girls at the front and their unapologetic response to their cancellation.
