   Aubergine entree and prawn main were superb. The saffron ice cream was home made and was not to be missed even if you don’t think you have room for desert. Excellent introduction to Persian cuisine for us and will return to try other dishes.

   Visited for a Saturday lunch. Restaurant the right side of busy - enough to have a nice atmosphere, not so full that it was too busy. Food was excellent - strongly recommend the Fesenjan. Service was a little slower than we would have liked , partly because we were a little tight on time but also partly because the waiters seemed a little distracted. Overall, would recommend if looking for a flavourful relaxed meal.

   The prawn dish (Maygoo) was very good - a delicious herby sauce with prawns and rice. The aubergine started was also tasty, as was the Jujeh. Service could be better. We came to eat at 4.30, the restaurant was empty and the waiters were in a rush for us to order. There was a photo shoot going on outside and the lights kept coming on and off, which was distracting. I appreciate the honesty but was disappointed to find out that the Sharbats are made with tap water, which does not justify £4 for me.

   We dined for a birthday on a Saturday night shortly after Eid. The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate a last minute change of time. Great welcome. The food is superb and portions are generous so we no doubt over-ordered. All the flavours we well balanced and fresh. Wines were delicious. It had the feel of a neighbourhood restaurant, as it was obvious many clients ate there often. As evening advanced, all became very busy and hectic. But we were treated to a small birthday surprise (without asking), which was very thoughtful. I can't wait to go again. Thank you Naroon!

   Other persian restaurants have plenty of choices for vegetarians too, but not this one. If you don’t eat chicken or lamb, don’t bother. I ordered the seabass and it was so dry, I couldn’t eat it. It came with herbs rice and a very garlicky sauce, but again, if you don’t want the garlic, then the rice on its own is very blunt and dry. Waitress noticed I didn’t eat my main, but looked at my friend when she asked if everything was ok, clearly wasn’t ready for negative feedback and my friend liked her dish, so I left it at that. The houmos doesn’t come with pita bread, so you need to pay for it separately. Overall very expensive and not worth, I won’t ever be back even if it’s the only open restaurant on the planet.

    Booking experience was great. Very accommodative especially as our group was large and then grew more at the last minute. Great service. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Last but not least, excellent food!
