Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

    We were celebrating an anniversary and had a very enjoyable experience. My wife had chicken piccata and I had veal piccata. Both were competently prepared. Portion size was good. Service was excellent .

    We had a fantastic meal on our anniversary, they treated us with a champagne toast too! The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening! We are definitely looking forward to returning…

    Dined here 2 years ago as a party of 8, which was amazing! Had hoped for food and service that would be just as good (this time) and Napoli III did not disappoint! The S’Mores martini is impressive! The prawn atop my husbands Bloody Mary was HUGE! In our party we had the Sea Bass, Bolognaise and Veal Parmesan…all outstanding. The only critique would be that our guest expected the Veal Parm to come atop/aside spaghetti but it didn’t so her meal was just the thin Veal cutlet and sauce (with steamed broccoli). Ended the meal with Crème Brûlée and the Cherry Cheesecake…”perfecto”! We definitely won’t wait another 2 years before visiting again!
