Napolese Pizzeria - Downtown
The pizza was amazing I would highly recommend trying this place out!
Not a good place to take younger children. Great for older children and adults.
We had a great time at Napolese Pizzeria. All three pizzas were great plus there is a good beer and wine list. If you are looking for convenient parking, you can park across the street in a parking ramp--there is also sometimes metered parking on the street.
We went with friends in advance of an ISO performance (an important fact). Each couple took advantage of the “devour” menu (one couple choosing the vegetarian options and the other couple choosing the meat options). All of us were well satisfied with our choices. The starters, salads and pizzas were all delicious and a bargain. We also availed ourselves of the wine bottle options and chose the primitivo from Puglia (the grape that was imported to California at the end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th centuries to become Zinfandel), and that, too was a bargain and delicious. Our only hiccup was the service. Our reservation was at 6:00 and we barely made an 8:00 curtain at the ISO (a 5-minute walk from the restaurant). So far as we can figure out, it is because our server got hung up with other guests who were more demanding than we.
Love the food. Only recommendation I would have would be more toppings on the meridian Kessler. Taste is great tho.
Our waiter was a little overwhelmed with too many tables but once he got to us the evening went better.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. However, the pizzas were a bit dry and somewhat burnt The staff was just so kind.
Food was amazing. Table was way too small for 4 people because the dishes are big.
Our waiter was awesome! I ordered some cinnamon drink which was disgusting and a small margherita pizza which was gross. I was so disappointed. I've been to the one at Keystone @ The Crossing which food and ambiance was MUCH better!
Fantastic experience!!! Great addition to downtown
Post-Yuletide dining with grandkids. They loved it and so did we.
We loved this restaurant and ambience. The food was delicious! Salads and pizza were unique
Great experience! Food, service and atmosphere all top notch. Will definitely be returning!
Excellent gourmet pizza at a reasonable price
Great pizza, great ambiance. The best part of this place is the ingredients they use, the sauce is so tasty because of how fresh it taste.
Even our kids loved it.
Consistently great food. Also great location for downtown activities.
The atmosphere was fine, but we paid an extra $4 for the buffalo mozzarella marguerita pizza (as opposed to regular mozzarella) and there was hardly any sauce or cheese on the pizza. The crust was burned and overall the pizza was very dry. It wouldn’t have been a big deal, except that we paid a lot of money for very little food (basically crust).
Had a large group and everything was great! We loved the new menu!
As always, great food, service and value.
Very nice, not crowded, good service, good food!
Nice time. Good meatballs. Pizza was better at mall location.
For a Friday night, the restaurant was relatively empty. The waiter we had waited almost 30 minutes after we finished eating to ask if we were ready for a tip. Food was incredible!
We sat outside. Perfect food
Th service was great, we had to wait for our daughter to get there due to some confusion in our communication with her. They were so gracious about it. Our server Evan was knowledgeable and a wonderful server. We had the tomato sauce with fresh goat cheese appetizer, the chopped salad & 2 pizzas. All of them were delicious. We shared a gelato for dessert. So good!!!
Good food...great service...nice place! Drinks can be a bit expensive. Good place to have a great time with family and friends.
Nice pizzas. They’re good but not exceptional. Service was very good.
Great - kids loved it. Even the zucchini noodle salad.
Service left much to be desired, no introduction or explanation of the menu. This was a business dinner and an out of the country guest was included. It would have made the experience better had those simple things taken place. Good and overall environment was very pleasant.
We love Napolese pizzeria and have dined at the Keystone location before, and love the whole restaurant group and what they stand for...which is why I’m surprised they hired a “server” like we had at the DT location. A child’s pizza, clearly more than a 3 yr old and 2 yr old can eat surely would have been enough, but he would rather pad the bill with another $10. We had to practically grab him to be able to order my wife’s and my food. He couldn’t be bothered with a table with children- directly next to the exposed kitchen where my kids were watching the food being made. He never came back after our food arrived, not to ask how it was, how things were, or anything. We had to clear our own plates (maybe he was mad we put them on the bar behind us). Maybe he was mad there was 6 tables in the whole place...
Whatever the reason, he got a poor tip because of his poor attitude and service...then while leaving CAME OUT OF THE FRONT DOOR and accosted me regarding it. do you want to eat at a place like this, with so many other options in town?
Started with the caprese salad. Thought there would be a bigger portion but it was good. Had the pepperoni pizza. It was good. The server was really nice and attentive. Will go back.
Very good pizza. A little slow to get us the check.
From start to finish our dinner and experience was amazing. We were told right off the bat for our party of five how much of what to order to get the full experience of what they offer! Allen was amazing, the food was delicious and we had hours of great conversation without feeling rushed. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful pizza, great help with wine pairings, salads also delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, sat outdoors, nice breeze and good shade. Felt able to linger and enjoy our meal!!!
Cool upscale east and west coast inspired pizza. The quality of the flour/ crust could be improved and a little crunchy on the outside.
We love this location. The service and food are always wonderful!
The pizza crust was exceptional. I'm one of those guys who thinks the crust makes the pie and this one was wood fired perfection. Crispy and chewy at the same time.
Everything was perfect and delicious. Thank you, Josh for your excellent service.
The egg on our pizza was not cooked. They tried to cook it again and same outcome.
