Napa River Grill
We went during restaurant week and enjoyed the special menu entrees. I had the grilled salmon and my wife enjoyed the short rib lasagna..
Excellent service and delicious food...
We will be back....
Everything was wonderful! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere made for a fabulous evening. We will definitely be back!
Great food overall. App was just lukewarm. Lasagna was amazing as were desserts! Great company!!
Another great experience at this restaurant. Service was outstanding. Food was amazing. Very enjoyable night out.
My meal was cold, not even warm, by the time I got a server, not ours and he brought it back our friends had finished eating . Too expensive to have this happen
Server was annoyed for some reason and we only had a party of 4. Not sure what we did but he did not provide a very enjoyable experience. Expect better at a restaurant of this caliber. Been there before and had had much better service and experiences. So hoping this isn't a reflection on restaurant's future and/or current management.
Outstanding service!!!
We try to go to one restaurant in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area of this calibre once per week. Of the 10 or so we’ve been to recently Napa is near the bottom. My daughter had a lobster pasta special that was bland. I had a porterhouse special that was not seasoned at all. My wife had a vegetable pasta and also wasn’t impressed. We paid a little more than comparable places and were less pleased than anywhere else. It was ok, but we have a long list of places on here that are 5 of 5 for us to go to instead.
My wife and I were very disappointed in the food and service here. The caesar's salad I ordered was the worst tasting one I've ever had and I could barely eat a bit of it and it was taken off our bill. The quail was average but stuffed with a spicy concoction on the inside. My wife's burger was cooked medium rare rather than medium as she requested. Parts inside were very pink. The service wasn't too good. Our server wasn't overly friendly and I had to ask her to refill my water glass.
For the $88 dollar bill for two, we definitely won't be back.
Everything was very delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. The only thing that wasn’t great was they did not serve any kind of bread with my lasagna
The food was delicious! The service was wonderful and our food was promptly served to us. The restaurant followed all CDC safety guidelines. I will be returning.
The Sunday brunch buffet is pricey but worth every Penny.
The buffet staff did a great job serving us to provide a covid safe experience.
Unfortunately our server was not very organized and did not check on us. We had to flag her down every time we needed something. They were not exceptionally busy but she seemed distracted.
Also an automatic tip of 20% was added for our party of six and I hope that she had to share that.
We loved the Sunday Brunch at Napa.
The food was so tasty and the servers went above and beyond to make everything perfect!
We went there for Valentine’s Day brunch. I had been there once before and really enjoyed it. It was just as good as before. The food was great, the service was great, everything was great.
I have been going to Nap for years. It isn't like it used to be. Bathrooms were dirty, meat quality was okay but the service was very good. My filet was not steakhouse quality. Properly seasoned. I will probably return but not for special occasions. Other restaurants make visiting them more special.
Valentine’s day
Food Mediocre ..... No Bread ...
Could not make Twice Baked Potato with Filet
Seemed like Excuse after Excuse as if we were there to Please the Napa River Grill
Not much Hospitality .... even on Valentines Day ?
This was my second time eating brunch there. My first experience with the brunch was awesome. The food was nice and warm and delicious. The brunch on Sunday was not good. Our food was not warm and very cold. This time there seemed to be no seasoning for the food. My husband was disappointed and this was his first time.
Great environment. Food was ok. No seasoning. We went for brunch
Went for Sunday brunch, food was great, good variety. Buffet servers were very nice. Many covid precautions in place made us feel safe to enjoy the experience. The one drawback was our table server. After filling our drink order she disappeared, not to return until time for the check when she gave a very nice speech hoping we enjoyed our experience obviously looking for a tip. Never offered a drink refill or to take an egg/omelet order (included). This has been an ongoing issue for the brunch waitstaff at Napa but thought covid might have improved the situation, sigh...
Our server Madison was very attentive and friendly. We were able to take advantage of happy hour and the beverages were great. The food has always been excellent at Napa River. We're dedicated patrons.
Great Server!
Great food
No ambience and menu was not very interesting and taste of food so so
The experience from the time we walked through the door was excellent. We were celebrating two birthdays. The servers and customer service was excellent. Food and drinks were really good. This was my second experience. My first experience was the brunch which was excellent.
We enjoyed the food, as always. Staff explained the rules due to Covid clearly and we were a let to obtain food selections quickly. This was the first visit for a few in our party, and they are planning the next visit.
I just love this place! Best deal in town! Awesome food and wonderful staff.
The food was delicious and the service was wonderful.
New Year’s Eve
They are in the process of rebranding, and they need too. The experience was much less than expected.
Dinner was solid. It was not inexpensive though.
It was delicious ! We had a great time with good service
Christmas Eve. Totally enjoyable and delicious. Service was impeccable. Excellent experience! Thanks.
Horrible experience, terrible service, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Typically this is a restaurant that we enjoy, however we went for brunch on 12/20/2020 and from this experience, we will not be returning. The food was good, however not as good as we have become accustomed to it being at this restaurant. Our server, Tiffany, refused to write down our breakfast order, came back asked for clarification and still got our order wrong. Our waitress then dropped off our bill in the middle of our first plate, while we were all actively eating. She told us that we could pay the bill "whenever." Three minutes late, the waitress returned and asked if we had paid the bill yet, which we had not, because we were still actively eating. We then paid the bill after being pressured a few times, and magically we never saw our server again and never had our drinks refilled. I got up to go to the restroom, while my boyfriend was at the table eating, they removed my silverware. I was not finished eating, nor did they ask my boyfriend if I was finished they just removed the silverware. I guess informing us again that our time at this restaurant was to be over, regardless of whether we were ready or not. We felt rushed the entire time; to eat, pay the bill, we could not eat anymore because our silverware was taken away and we had nothing to drink. This was just poor service all around. My boyfriend, nor I, were able to eat to where we were full due to the poor service and lack of care from this restaurant.
To make matters worse, as I came back from the restroom, I heard the servers making fun of customers in the kitchen. It also appeared that one of the customers that they were making fun of was my boyfriend. This is extremely unprofessional behavior from a staff, especially when your customers can hear you actively talk poorly about them.
Great experience
The food was not as good as it usually is. Our calamari looked as though the cook dumped it straight from the fryer-greasy. We usually love the calamari there. The bread on our sandwiches felt stale We ate what we could. Our dessert was delicious. It was. Disappointment and we usually love it.
Servers for brunch gave very small portions of food. When we asked for an additional spoon of food, we were told to come "you can always come back for a second plate". The portions on my 6'4" husband's plate was smaller than my 8 yr. old's plate. For the cost of the brunch, you should not have to return 3-4 times to get a regular portioned meal. WE WILL NOT be going back! The food was not very good either, which made the experience even worse.
Food was great, restaurant was extremely clean, all COVID rules and regulations were followed. Service was PERFECT and we could not have asked for better from the buffet, staff was extremely nice!!! I would highly recommend!
The Pad Thai was excellent! And the live music on the patio was a nice touch!!
We had a great time, and service was impeccable. Food was tasty, disappointed that they were out of guacamole for appetizer. Goat cheese was offered as another option which was $$ in price but it was perfect in taste. Caesar salad was served in regular bowl with a Parmesan wafer instead of the Parmesan bowl that it used to be served in.
