    Latest reviews have had some variability, but our service was exceptional thanks to Hannah who was a superb server. We were allowed to relax but never felt less than completely taken care of. Gnocchi was light and delicious as was salmon for entrees. Fig and prosciutto flatbread delicious as well. Wines were reasonably priced and served in high end Riedel glassware which was appreciated. Will definitely return!

    Our second visit to Napa failed to impress. For a Saturday evening the restaurant was nearly empty. Service was slow to start and never got better. Why does wait staff at a elegant restaurant need to be encouraged to remove the extra place setting from a table or the empty wine bottle at the end of a table!Food was just ok. Not sure we will be back. Lack luster evening.

    Service was awkward and very slow. Server forgot to put in appetizer. Both appetizer and main course came out at same time…about 45mins after we ordered. Quality of food was substandard, rubber, not hot, and certainly not what one expects at Napa.

    Alicia was a great server. It was a quiet Sunday dinner. The Chef’s charcuterie board was good, but I was surprised to not see any pate on it. . All else was yummy on the board. Since they were out of oysters, we had the Meatball appetizer - that’s always a winner. The salmon was just OK - nothing notable. The shrimp gnocchi was not its usual - the sauce could have been a little less runny. I thought the cheesecake was a huge portion and quite tasty. The cobbler was the crowd’s favorite - to me it tasted a bit like a Cinnabon with ice cream, nothing to brag about. With all that said, the food is solid, good portions, always impeccably clean place, and friendly service. The patio is a must. I will continue coming back and try different dishes.

    Sunday Late Brunch. Sarah was our wait staff. She was personable & really took care of us. Food was prepared wonderfully. Glasses of wine with a fig/ prosciutto flatbread started our dining. Mains for us was the Napa Benedict special & a meatballs in an Italian pomodoro sauce. Always a great dining experience at Napa!

    A bit disappointed. Had the calamari as an appetizer and it was bland and tasted old. The whipped goat cheese was delicious tho. Had the papardelle as a main. Again, plain and the pasta was not cooked well. Clumps of noodles together creating a massive chunk of underwhelming pasta. Sauce tastes like canned tomato sauce and only had a few pieces of protein. We had a side of mashed potatoes that also lacked flavor. The chocolate torte for dessert was the saving grace.

    Today I along with my friend we made plans for brunch at an all time favorite spot in Charlotte. Sadly the service was beyond poor, the food was ....well it was a joke. First our food was served to the wrong table , picked up and reserved to us? Food was cold and prepared nothing like we had requested (eggs). One of the gals bit into her quiche and it was ice cold, she cut a few more pieces and the entire slab was cold. They picked up our meals and with the intention of replacing. They brought back the piece of original quiche which they heated in the microwave. My order was brought out incorrect. I went to speak with the manage as they were going to a attempt once again to figure out our order. I politely said " we are done, we will pay for the drinks and the one order of French toast but this is ridiculous'. He agreed and said mentioned they were trying to get it together. Napa clearly has lost their edge, perhaps the group that took it over needs to close down and come up with a new concept because the prior owners would never have had these type of issues.

    Food was pretty good but don’t forget anything. I left my sunglasses on the table and within 20 minutes they were gone! There was no one left in the restaurant when I left so it had to be someone on staff but it’s ok. Hope they enjoy them.

    The staff took great care of us, including a subtle recognition of my companion’s birthday. No singing or candles-thankfully. A sweet dessert and a birthday card with a gift card for a future visit. Much appreciated!

    Our servers, Kevin + Brandon (a trainee), were wonderful. They helped us pick a great bottle of wine and recommended certain dishes to us. I had the pork chop and I would definitely get it again - it was delicious! The hostesses were very sweet. I would say that Napa on Providence continues to be one of my favorite places to dine in Charlotte - great food, great service and a beautiful restaurant. You can't go wrong here.

    We sat at the first booth by the host stand. We were on the early side and were subjected to the “operations” conversations between employees (host, servers and probably manager.) This took away from our experience. (Those conversations would be better held AWAY from all tables.) Meal was fine, server was fine. Nothing more.

    Staff is great! But I go there often and thought food was a bit off from usual last night. Enjoyed my birthday dinner overall though, and will return. (PS. I did not feel like complaining to waitress or manager, both of whom would have addressed issues, I’m sure. They were both very friendly and attentive.)

    This was my first dining experience at Napa on Providence and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great tasting food and drink with outstanding service. My wife and I came here during Restaurant Week and Napa offered both the special restaurant week menu and their standard menu. The food selection looked interesting enough that we ordered from both menus and the food was excellent. Dinner items we chose included the Napa Salad, fried oysters, salmon, mushroom ravioli and chocolate dessert. The food was plated nicely and tasted great. I also have to mention the service at this restaurant. We were greeted warmly when we approached the front station and were offered both indoor and outdoor patio seating. We chose to sit in the patio. Our server was Sean and he took great care of us. We never felt rushed and Sean gave us dining/drink recommendations and kept our glasses filled without asking. Our appetizers and entrees came out without delay and our plates were cleared timely to make room for the next course. The dining manager also stopped by to check on our dining experience which was great. When we mentioned to Sean our compliments to the Chef, we were pleasantly surprised during coffee and dessert when Chef came by personally to ask us about the food. This was a very nice touch to end our evening at Napa. We’ll definitely be coming back in the near future. I would highly recommend Napa on Providence to anyone looking for a special couple’s night out or an evening with friends.
