Nantuckets Port Jefferson
We offer both indoor & outdoor dining on two decks and a new Weekend Brunch including Bottomless Mimosas!
Enjoyed a fantastic family brunch this past weekend. Definitely will come back!
Nice nautical ambiance. Tables appropriately spaced apart and noise level low. Food was better than anticipated and wait service couldn’t have been better. Attentive, but not interfering in any way. Overall, much better than expected. We’ll be returning for sure
This was my first time at Nantucket’s. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. Our server was knowledgeable of how the food was prepared and willing to accommodate substitutes. I have added this restaurant to my favorites list
Such poor slow service. Took an hour for sliders. When I inquired why it was taking so long the server, who was never around, said it took so long bc I ordered the silver dollar sized pieces of meat well done.
We will never go back.
Great food, beautiful interior, and yummy cocktails!
Excellent all aroud
Always have great service and great food here! A very friendly place!
Very good will return
We shall return.
First time visiting Nantucket’s and were thrilled we did. Service was terrific and the food was great and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Flounder with lobster. Very good cocktails too!
Valentine’s Day
I would recommend Nantuckets for lunch on a "regular" weekday. Food is outstanding! I would stay away from special event dinners (Valentine's, Mother's Day, etc), as the place gets very crowded, and parking becomes even more difficult than it already is.
The food was exceptional and the service was excellent.
Very good nice people
Dinner was ok. My daughter said that Nantuckets was hit or miss but we decided to give them a try. We had to ask for bread and that didn't come out until the appitizers were brought out. My mussels were very good however my husband's dumplings were just good. I ordered the marinated steak and when it came it had not been marinated or seasoned. My husband ordered the pork chop and although tender it too had no seasoning at all. Dessert - flourless chocolate cake was too sweet and not much flavor. I ordered the smashed apple and that also had no taste. The waiters however did hustle to get things moving. It was the cook who left something to be desired.
Wonderful meal
While I would recommend that people try this restaurant our experience was not great as it took more than an hour for the main course to come (after the appetizers). We asked about this numerous times but it was way too long to be sitting and waiting for the main course. Manager said it was because it as crowded, orders go in differently etc but 2-3 taels came in after us and were finished with their dinners before we got ours. When it cane, however the food was very good.
We took advantage of winter restaurant week and enjoyed our Friday night dinner at Nantuckets. The service was great as usual, such a polite and accommodating staff. Food was great, we had the seafood pasta and the strip steak (not a great cut of meat, but the marinade was good and it was cooked to the perfect temperature) the apple dessert was to die for. Thanks Nantuckets!
First time at Nantucket’s. Food, service, ambience was excellent. Small dining room provided a quaint atmosphere. Had early reservation at 5:45. Dining room and bar area were full by 7 pm making it a bit noisier.
My wife choose this restaurant due to location and had a 4.5 star rating. The occasion was for my 50th birthday. We made a reservation on a timely basis for a particular seat in the restaurant which became unavailable. The food was excellent. The service was very slow. After we finished our dinner and we were waiting for our desert, we did not see a waiter/server for about 20 minutes. We finally had waived down the waiter/server and said it would be out in a minute. The desert finally came out 10-15 minutes later. The waiter/server did not even ask if we would like coffee or tea. The communication was very poor and made us feel like we were valued customers. I would not recommend this restaurant.
My husband and I dined during Restaurant Week and we were so impressed. I had the spring rolls for appetizer and my husband had the pork dumplings and they were amazing and plentiful. I had the marinated shell steak and my husband had the pork chop. We were sooo stuffed afterwards that we could barely finished our smashed apple for dessert.. Everything was so delicious and huge portions. I would love to come back again soon,
My husband and I went out for a date night on a Sunday night and although we made a reservation, it probably wasn’t needed. It was the perfect date night spot with personable and friendly service, amazing food and a great date night ambiance. I also like that it’s off the main streets in Port Jeff so parking was easy. We’ll definitely be back!
Thank you so much for leaving us a review! Glad you had a wonderful date night with your husband, and your experience with us. Hope to see you back again soon!
Great food, great service, and great bar!
Hendriks Gin, Scallops risotto, were outstanding. We will definitely be going back.
Delicious, fresh, generous portions, great service - we’ll be back.
New Years eve
New Year’s Eve
We disappointed that when the bill came there was a $15.00 surcharge for the steak & shrimp dinner. This was a price fixe menu for New Years Eve and neither my wife nor I was made aware that there would be a surcharge. We did not recall seeing it on the menu and it was not stated on the online menu as well. Although the food and the service were very good, we still left with a bad taste in our mouths.
This was our second time at Nantuckets and we really enjoyed the food and ambiance. They have a different meditteranean menu and we each thoroughly enjoyed our meals and service. We will be back on our next trip to Long Island.
Great food and atmosphere. Wait staff terrific!
Everybody visiting Port Jefferson Harbor should try Natucket restaurant. They will not be disappointed.
Crab cakes were disappointing bland and small for the price; fish special was good but we expected a much bigger portion for the $30 price tag
Had our Christmas Eve dinner there, excellent value very pleasant waitstaff and Rich (owner)was charming! Overall a very pleasant evening and their new Decour was fresh and airy!
Nice place to unwind with great food and drinks! Service and ambience is great! 👍
We greatly appreciate you leaving a review! We are pleased that you enjoyed your food, drinks, and the service. Hope to see you back again.
My experience at Nantucket restaurant is the single biggest reason I’ve planned another weekend in Port Jefferson. The sautéed Calamari was “over the moon” which was followed by one of the best Flounder with lobster/crab I’ve ever eaten. Fantastic evening!!!
Nice little place and the food was great.
This was our second time there. The first time was amazing, and took place about a year ago. Apparently it is under new management now. The seating area was dark and cold. The food was not as we remembered it at all. The service was very good, but that was about it.
The omelet, home fries and sausage were delicious and the portion was generous enough for lefty to take home. The Bloody Mary had just the right amount of horseradish and spice. Service and ambience were both wonderful. Highly recommend this place.
First time there. Food and service were exemplary.
We had an excellent time with awesome service!
The food and service are always excellent this is one of our favorite restaurants we are never disappointed
Thank you for leaving us a review! We are always glad to hear from repeat customers. Hope to see you back again soon.
