Très bien au niveau de la nourriture mais nous avons mon mari et moi été ajouté à une table qui avait déjà 6 personnes qui avaient déjà eu la soupe et mangeaient la salade donc, nous avons été un peut forcé d’aller vite.
We had a post wedding party & the staff couldn’t have made it more special.
We had 730 reservations, didnt get seated until 8pm. The cook was funny but talked about eating kitty. People joke but wasnt funny, my grandkids thought he was serious. He was good though. Went and bought bday package, we didnt get a souvineer as stated.... very dissapointed, our bill was over 750 , food was too salty and shrimp over cooked. Fishy, and the lobster tasted funny as well. Benihanas is much better!

I want to start and say I am a VIP on Open Table and have NEVER been treated like this at any restaurant in my life. My friends and I came here to enjoy sushi on October 4, 2019 but unfortunately we were treated very disrespectful. Our Uber driver was new to Myrtle Beach and did not know the Kingston Plantation development but I called the restaurant to let them know we were running late because of this. We arrived about 10 minutes late but they had our table ready in the sushi bar area. There restaurant was very clean, a lively environment as the people who were sitting around the hibachi grills were very lively, loud and having fun with their chiefs. David our waiter, came to the table with an attitude. He rudely asked what we wanted to eat and drink. Some of us ordered a glass of wine, a beer, a mixed drink and waters. Our food came randomly, not all the meals were severed at once. Once we all had our meals, David asked if we needed anything else. The woman at our table who had 2 waters, asked for a beer and was told we were cut off from anymore alcohol. Two people has not even finished one beer, one woman had drank her martini and I had not even drank the half of my glass of moscato. He said we had to much to drink when we have not even had really anything. I immediately asked for the manager. He said he was the bar manager. I wanted to speak to the restaurant manager or owner. I explained how we had been treated. She explained he has the right. When I told the person that was to she could have anything and who had been over severed was someone who has order water, she went to speak to David. I demanded our food be paid for as I have never been treated like this. She could look at my Open Table VIP status and see what it said. Was we stood outside and waited on our Uber driver, we were just irate that we had been treated in such an embarrassing and discriminatory way. I have never been treated like this. I have requested the owner of this establishment call me
Nakato is my all-time favorite restaurant! We drove an hour and a half from Dillon yesterday just for Nakato. It was worth it and always is! ❤
I have been coming to Nakato's for 30 years since I was a little girl. We had the best time and the best cook and service on Saturday night. My two little boys really enjoyed it.
It was my birthday and we went for dinner. The staff was wonderful, entertaining and attentive to our needs.
The food was good....but not exceptional as the chicken was cooked too long and was a little dry. But, I understand they want to make sure it is done so that no one will get sick.
Otherwise the experience was great. We will visit again.

Best Japanese Steak house around! The sushi is great, but my favorite is the Filet Mignon! So tender, it just melts in your mouth!

We had a wonderful time there celebrating my daughters birthday. The chef was very nice. Loved how he played and talk to my daughters that are 3 and 5 years old. He made this a special dinner.
Family gathering handled well, food allergy accommodated easily, excellent wrap aloft cool. Fish and shellfish slightly over cooked.
Lots of fun for a large group. Sushi was amazing. Hibachi was a little different than what we’re used to, but was still good and portions were huge.

It was not good at all. Food was fatty and raw. The one chef was very inappropriate. And my chef didn’t do anything but cook no show or anything

My husband and I dined there and we HAD reservations. The place and parking lot was packed. When we checked in for our reservation the woman handed us one of those buzzing pagers. I reminded her we had a reservation and her response was, and I quote, "All these people without reservations are waiting over an hour." I took the pager and walked away, she knew I wasn't happy. They seated us about 10 minutes later at a table that had been seated prior. We didn't even sit down and the waiter asked what we wanted to drink. Then we were given soup before we even ordered our meal. Nakato is trying to turn hibachi into fast food. We were done eating and out the door all within 45 minutes. We couldn't eat as fast as it was coming and took a lot home. We were not offered dessert or another glass of wine. The up side is the chef we had was very good and the food was great, but sorry Nakato, I've eaten a lot of Hibachi and you won't get repeat business treating your customers this way. Huge disappointment!

Very enjoyable!! Customer Service is wonderful! We were seated beside a group and one gentleman was obnoxious!! Ordered steak and was angry he was paying $17 for ‘fat’ as he called it but there was very little fat and doesn’t he know that’s what gives meat flavor and moisture. Even threw a piece of meat back to the grill. Ugh!! Our chef handled it very calmly and professionally! In the end, the gentleman was satisfied with his meal. Portions are huge! I took home more than I ate there. Made reservations online, seated immediately as we walked through the door. Will definitely visit next year when we are on vacation again!!
Good food and great chef. The angel hair pasta in lieu of the traditional noodles weren’t really a good look. Vegetables were kind of missing some key players.
Wonderful food as always, but not the best service this time. Our server was a little behind the whole meal and messed up in a couple people’s orders at our table (but not with our party). The kitchen left some of the food off the cart and the chef had to run back twice to get missing items. My only complaint was a tough lobster tail. The exhaust fans obviously don’t work at this place, so you leave covered in grease and smelling awful. That’s been a constant for the last few years we’ve dined there, but the food is always so good that we’ve just put up with it anyway. After this time, we’ve decided to only do take out in the future. Still the best tasting food in town!
I was disappointed that they could not seat us until 8:30 and we did not eat until 9 for an 8 pm reservation. And the AC does not work well.
Perfect for families with allergies. Miyagi wouldn't serve us...but Nakato went over and above. Thank you so much! Our favorite night! Wonderful waiter too!! We will be back!

4 adults - 2 teens. Teens enjoyed, but the chef could have been more entertaining. Soup and salad was good, but too much dressing. Noodles were served before the main meal along with too much rice and not enough vegetables.
They charged my card twice. Then when I called that night they said it would reverse at midnight. It did not. I called back the next day and they were rude and refused to give a refund, even after I texted the receipt to the managers phone and a screen shot of my bank screen showing the charge twice. Wells Fargo had to disputed the charge for my refund.
