Good service and a great view. Limited food options during brunch. Not enough shade and umbrellas the morning we were there.

We had a lovely time. We ordered several small plates. They came out quickly and were delicious! The drinks were great and the service was on point.

We decided to take a trip to Savannah for the 4th and because it was last minute we were trying to find a place where we could view the fireworks. Almost every place was booked and Myrtle and Rose had one more reservation opened for 7:30 outside, so I booked immediately. Upon arriving, checking reservations and IDs was smooth. We got a complimentary drink/shot which was so nice and free merch. I think I chose a Jim beam drink with peach and mango in it (can’t remember the name). We got seated and we had the perfect seat to view the fireworks. We had to use the bathroom so we both left and when we got back another couple was sitting at our table. We don’t know what happened but they must have looked at the seating chart wrong or didn’t mark it. Now I would have made a huge deal about it and it would have caused my rating to go down, but the staff was so quick to rectify the situation, it made it better. The manager got us a free drink and got my Jim beam merch for me (I got some cool glasses and a t shirt). Then they were able to find us a table which was still perfect view of the fireworks. We ordered our food and enjoyed the show. We ordered the oysters, mussels, pork belly steam buns, shrimp, brussel sprouts, beef tartare, sea scallops and I got the chocolate raspberry tart to finish off. We ordered a lot of food, but let me just say, the menu is pretty random for the vibe of river street in my opinion lol but it was amazing. Everything had such good flavor, texture, the seafood wasn’t fishy, tasted fresh. The tartare tasted so good with the bread they provide with it, I just didn’t like the shallots cuz I don’t like onions much. For the tart, I would have preferred a chocolate tart with maybe raspberry couli on top but it was a little too tart with it having raspberry filling. The rose merengue was delicious though and so creamy. Despite the incident we encountered, I’d give our experience a 9/10. I would definitely go back. The staff was top tier as well.

The Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar is a lovely outdoor space with a beautiful view of the Savannah River. Small plate options are interesting and delicious, as are the beverages. Staff, from the busboy to the manager, are wonderful. Perfect July 4th experience topped off with fireworks!

Myrtle & Rose was great! The view and breezy patio were perfect for a warm 4th of July. We were surprised to have booked a brunch reservation, but not served brunch (not served on Fridays). However, the food items from the small plates menu blew us away with every bite. We did not have drinks, but the drink and small plates menus were both obviously created with care. Beautifully meticulous menu that includes herbs from their own garden in their dishes. Would 100% return when we go back to Savannah. Catalina was a great server that put the cherry on top.

This is the second time that I have had a party of six at this establishment and we have been sat at the same table in the back outside each time. Maybe I need to request something closer to the river for a better view. The servers had a very difficult time opening our wine bottles. We waited a good 10 minutes to get one bottle open then had to wait on the other bottle. This should not be that hard and the servers shouldn't be expected to do this table side like a fine dining establishment with the small handheld corkscrew. Give them something that is easier and safer to work with please. The food was great! We shared at least one of almost every small plate. We will come back again because it is always so good. We'll just ask for a better view next time.

Wonderful experience! Service 10/10, drinks were delicious and they even had a mocktail available! The views of river street were the best from the high top chairs, felt like you were sitting right over the water! The appetizers were surprisingly filling for a decent price. The shrimp and salmon potato cakes were the best!

Great idea/location and concept, poorly executed. Very lack luster on all areas. Needs a refresh on decor. Could add some fans to help on summer nights. Techno music was interesting. Even the uniforms of the staff were odd. Cocktails were ok …food was ok but extremely over priced overall it needs help.
