Von der OpenTable-Redaktion: Das Ehepaar Michelle Karr-Ueoka und Wade Ueoka sammelte Erfahrung in MICHELIN-Sterne-Küchen von Napa bis New York. Dann kamen die beiden zurück nach Hause und eröffneten eines der heute wichtigsten Restaurants in Honolulu – laut Eater ein absolutes Muss. Im großzügigen, gut besuchten Speisesaal im zweiten Stock werden hawaiianische Wohlfühlgerichte serviert, darunter Kampachi im Mochi-Mantel und Wagyu auf hausgemachten Mochi-Brötchen.     Located on 2nd Floor in Velocity Honolulu Building. Use "Velocity Honolulu" or enter in "888 Kapiolani Blvd" as destination location for Uber or Lyft. DO NOT enter MW Restaurant in Uber or Lyft, because we have been having issues with guests being dropped at our old location. Drop off and entrance to the restaurant and valet parking is from Kapiolani Blvd make a right at the Mercedes Benz sign and go straight down to the end of the lane and then turn up the ramp. Parking on the ground level in the MW Valet only stall is prohibited and subject to be towed away at the owner expense.

    We enjoyed quite a few new things to us. We celebrated my girlfriend birthday, which they made very special. The Mango shaved ice dessert was beyond amazing.

    MW Restaurant didn’t disappoint. We had the 5 course tasting menu and every dish was excellent. Service was excellent. The only negative was finding the valet parking. We had to call the restaurant as we were circling for directions. Instructions with reservations would be helpful. We would definitely dine here again when in Honolulu.

    The food was incredible – the mochi crusted Hawaiian kanpachi was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Our server, Tyler was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience truly memorable."     We started with the wagyu sliders. They are small, macaron size but amazing. Perfectly done. I could do two orders and call it dinner. I had the butterfish and my wife had the panko crusted Kampachi. Hard to tell which was better. Great service made the night .

    Enjoyed our dinner! Mochi crusted kampachi was excellent. My friend had the special which was a lobster roll. I mentioned to waiter that he should let customers know that the lobster roll had a strong wasabi flavoring which for me overwhelmed the lobster. Our desserts were excellent - the MW Candy bar cake and the lilikoi creme brulee.

    Food, service, and experience are always top-notch. Highly recommend the cold ramein salad special deliciously unexpected. We are from the east coast of the mainland and always make a point to eat at MW when we visit Oahu. Well, over 10 meals now. We can't wait to comeback.

    As always, an excellent meal and excellent service. We always choose MW for dining before Broadway in Hawaii, and the quality of food and service never disappoints. We scheduled for 5:45pm dining as our musical started at 7:30pm, and were a bit rushed at the end to finish dessert. Will move reservation for June up to 5:30pm
