The menu changed a bit so some favorites are gone. Our waiter, Tyler said if we gave a weeks notice they could possibly prepare the items we would like to have. The items we had were delicious so we were filled to our delight.

Excellent food! Way too loud of a space, and the location is not great. Too bright and uninspiring as well. But the food and desserts make up for the negatives. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious but service was just okay. The girl hostess at the front was not friendly at all, not even a “welcome/hi” or a smile. I had to walk up and wait for a few moments until she looked up to even acknowledge me after standing right in front of her. It was my our first time at this location so I asked if this was MW since there is another bar/restaurant in the same building, was answered with a “yes,” and that’s all. Not a nice start to a fine dining experience. When I said I had a reservation, she just pointed to the table next to the bar area… didn’t even bother to come around the desk and take a few steps to indicate where. Even a small gesture of effort would have been nice, especially for a place like this. Very unprofessional, in my opinion. The table was right in the front near the bar area and it looked like a waiting area, so I requested to change tables for a table of 5. They accommodated this but didn’t seem happy about it. Our waiter was attentive enough and answered our questions but was nothing special, to be honest. Didn’t show much enthusiasm or appreciation for us dining that night. However, each dish was tasty and everyone enjoyed the meal! I just think the staff should be trained more thoroughly on customer service. The overall experience was very lackluster - I expected more for such a nice restaurant.

The food, the chefs, the atmosphere, the staff, and the desserts are hands down, and undisputed AMAZING!! My wife and I enjoyed everything. And they make a mean mock tail and long Island ice tea. The selection of wines is great yet we passed on this. The fusion, tastes, and textures will leave you wanting more. You will not be disappointed!!! 5 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Our meal at MW was outstanding. We have been to Oahu about 7 times, and this restaurant experience was hands down the best we've had on any of the Hawaiian islands.

Ahi Nachos, Crab cakes, Short Ribs, and Mochi Crusted Kampachi were all very good. Unagi Arancini lost its flavor in the sauces. Banana Creme pie didn't have enough cream and wasn't a pie since it was deconstructed. Creme Brulee was good.

Wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! Had the seafood paella and hubby had 16 oz rib eye steak. The sides were delicious and the MW gin & tonic was the best I had. We have enough leftovers for tonight with the complimentary chocolate cake for my birthday. We will return. We had a nice table right next to the bar divider and enjoyed being at that end, quieter.

Food was excellent, service was fantastic, ambience was ok. Restaurant was packed with people and the noise level was very high. If you are looking for a quiet dinner for a romantic two of you, this is not the place. But if you are looking for good food and a happening place, this is it.

I ordered the tasting menu and it was delicious from beginning to end. This my favorite way to dine... Sit back and let the chef decide what is best. MW food did not disappoint. The location is rather odd... Inside a luxury car dealership and the service is very casual.

家内の誕生日に利用しました。まずとても美味しい料理をいただくことができました。またお店の方のサポートもとても適切で英語ができないことを忘れてしまいました。多くの方に知っていただきたいお店です。ただお店の場所がわかりにくく、お店に入りにくいです。どうして2階に行くのがわからなく、一階のお店の前で迷いました。また、ハワイを訪れた時は、必ず行きます。

Always amazing! Great food & service. Desserts are my fave. I got the scallop dish with lobster (soo good), poke nachos (need to get it), and orange creamsicle dessert!!! I also got the gnocchi but I’d skip that. Overall, really great!! 10/10

Absolutely amazing food and service! Ordered the mochi crusted kampachi and butterfish. Outstanding dishes! Ordered the persimmon shaved ice and crème brûlée for dessert. So delicious! We’ve been in Oahu for over a week and this was hands down the best meal so far!

MW is a wonderful restaurant and we had a fine meal with a group of friends, just the latest fine meal in many over the last 10 years. The appetizers were excellent, the misoyaki butterfish as well, and the special persimmon/starfruit salad was a hit. Only miss was the duck confit special — both who ordered it found the duck dry and over done, very little duck and too much bone. Desserts were, as always, superb. We were all puzzled that the main menu has barely changed forever. The standbys are all good, but many are the same items that have been there for years. We had a vegan in our group who pointed out that the only item on the menu that she could order was Mrs. Chang’s tofu — which she’s had 5 or 6 times now. Our consensus was that it’s time for a refresh. In any event, we had a great time and a good meal. Service was tops, wine list titled towards the high end but nice selection.

The entire staff was polite, attentive to our table, and quick providers of service. Our food arrived on time and presented very well, and the drinks were phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at MW in the private room, and the holistic experience made our night a fantastic one to remember.

Absolutely great restaurant with outstanding food and wine. Everything from our appetizer through our desserts was well thought out and executed perfectly. That being said it has to be one of the strangest locations for a restaurant that I’ve ever visited. You virtually have to walk through the Ferrari dealership to reach the restaurant and it wasn’t necessarily easy to find but easily one of the best meals I’ve had in the last year.

Dessert was what saved this dinner. The seafood paella was poorly executed. One shrimp was overcooked and rubbery while the other was almost raw. The rice was too al dente. The desserts were delicious - the 3 we tried. Although they were delicious, I would not come back.

Coming from a foodie town, I didn’t realize the price value as the meals leaned towards “touristy” Pacific cuisine. The price is obviously in the ingredients as my paella was only a fifth of what I get in Portland. In all, the front staff was attentive, despite an occasional gap between courses.
