Food was very tasty and service close to excellent. Although an error was made in one of our orders, the very personable and efficient hostess handled it so well, that it was rapidly dealt with. We’d definitely go back.

Had the roasted artic char, so spectacular, my customer enjoyed his express soup and Mac & cheese, lighter in a good way. The service and team at Murrieta’s is top notch.

Murietta’s, spectacular as always. Best premium, value restaurant in Calgary. Lamb meatballs, Awesome! Mushroom Pizza, my absolute favourite of any pizza of any style in Calgary. Lamb two ways main course was incredible! So great!

The good - the location, the building (old AB hotel), the main dining room vibe as well as the bar vibe. Some of the dishes were good - lamb meatballs, salads and chowder. The bad - really quiet (only 3 tables… it is Stampede, so alternatives abound). Still, I had the get up and fetch for service. I don’t see why keeping an eye on the diners wasn’t the priority. The ugly - the arctic char. Two of us had it and it was bad - overcooked, non-flaky, tough exterior, no flavor. We should have sent them back but we don’t do that. Kitchen - if you read this: I’ve had it before. Really good. Fix this or take it off the menu.

We needed to send back several beers due to being flat. My margarita pizza was ridiculous for the price. The hamburger served was undercooked. Not what we expected and totally disappointed.
