Murphys -- Family Friendly -- locally owned and operated.
.. See ya Soon!
I have eaten at Murphy's Crafthouse for lunch and dinner and have gotten a different meal each time. And each time the food was great. I think the quality of food, combined with the price and atmosphere at Murphy's Crafthouse make this one of my favorite restaurants. Would highly recommend this place.
Very cold. Floor dirty. Out of some ingredients to make ordered meals. Many empty tables for a Sat eve. Had similar and likewise poor experience in late summer we when visited last time and dined on patio. Feels like place is poorly managed and/or lacking in patron revenue. Made our last visit.
I order the "21 oz" Porterhouse. It was thin, and could NOT have been 21 oz (even before cooked). The cost of this entree is $32. To provide less than you promise is very substandard. Very disappointed.
Food was good service not so good. Had to asked twice for my wife ice tea before she got it. My son asked twice for ketchup for his burger and fries and never got it.
Too my wife here on a date night. This is not really a what I would consider a reservation worthy restaurant. It's a bar and grill. There are TV's everywhere, crying babies, etc. So just be prepared that why the ambiance is nice, it's not a romantic or upscale setting.
We started if with an app order of thier Buffalo sauce pub wings. They were good... Not Ale Emporium good, but good.
Had the filet... Was not a very good cut of meat. Was more like a sirloin then the melt in your mouth texture you'd expect from a filet. Seasoning was fine. Baked potato was cold.
Also had the tomahawk chop. It was phenomenal. Cooked perfectly, BBQ sauce was good. The mashed potatoes were good, but dry.
I believe their heat was out because it was cold in the restaurant and they had space heaters.
We drove 20 minutes to try this place out. Probably won't do that again, but not a bad place to eat if you're local.
always good. Nice neighborhood restaurant bar. Service is always friendly. Wide variety of food from burgers and pizza to steak.
The food was great and was very nice place
Was very relaxing and they where busy that night
Kitchen got backed up - missed a side listed on the menu.
Ok for the holiday.
This place was absolutely amazing! From the food to the service, I could not have picked a better place. If you have never been to Murphy's please give it a try! I promise you will be back because I know I will :)
Our first time to this place and we loved it. Great menu, cool atmosphere, and great service. Food came out quick. Did a reservation and our table was marked so when we walked in it was ready. We will be back.
I feel so lucky to have such a consistently excellent restaurant near my home. I like everything about this place, and especially love eating outdoors when the weather allows.
Unfortunately, Murphy's Craft House did not update Open Table for Holiday hours. We were confirmed through Open Table for a table of 10 for December 26. We had our whole troop there on time, but the restaurant was closed. No notice to us.
Service was efficient and very friendly.
My complaints were:
Scallops were sent back frozen in the middle. They brought new ones that weren’t frozen but were just warm. They did comp that entree!
Beer cards on the table (labeled holiday beers) were inaccurate. Most Olof the specialty beers we ordered weren’t available, and several of the kegs blew, preventing us from getting those beers too. Our waitress really knew nothing about the beers or what they had.
One guest ordered a Breckinridge pale ale, and she brought him a vanilla dark lager. When he asked, she said “Yesh. That doesn’t look like a pale ale. Maybe were out of that and just poured what is now in our Breckinridge tap. I’m not sure,”.
We enjoyed our night, but there was definitely room for improvement!
Good food, nice ambiance and moderately priced
The food is great my husband and I visit every week it’s one of our favorite places to eat also love the staff they are friendly and great service!!
When we arrived they had no indication of us having a reservation. They sat us, but made it very clear they had received nothing. I showed them the confirmation and it was barely acknowledged.
We went for an employee luncheon and enjoyed ourselves. The food was great and the server was very attentive
Great food great service. Will definitely be back again
We dined outside and it was a great experience. Appetizers, margaritas and steaks were all excellent.
Steaks were AMAZING, service AMAZING. Will be back
Service is always slow. A craft house yet they do not have a beer menu for every table.
Order was wrong. Asked for asparagus to replace mushrooms instead replaced rice. Coleslaw was not fresh and tasted strange. Poor combination of flavors. Fish was cold. Humus was tasteless. More chips than fish. Server came to table twice. Chips over salted.
Love me some Craig Stonebraker-🤗
Amazing hidden gem in Geist. Tasty bar food and great service. Family friendly and good for adult night out.
We had to wait to be seated when the place was basically empty. We waited 10 minutes until we finally sat ourselves and then my husband went back to check us in. The server only checked on us twice times during the whole meal. Once to get our order and once to bring us our check. The food was delicious as always and we will be going back. Hopefully we will get a better server next time!
We made reservations & arrived about 15 minutes early. We were seated right away & had a table reserved with our name. By far, the best reservation experience over any restaurant to date. Food was wonderful. However, it was quite noisy because it was so busy & since my dad is hard of hearing we didn't stay long after dinner.
Overall not bad had reservations for 7 and no wait. Not crowded at all for a Sat night. The steak sandwich and wings were very good. My wife got the ribeye which looked like a NY Strip we asked the waiter about it a d he said they all look like that. It was a tough pc of meat to say the least. The prices seem to be 20% higher than the other location in Fishers for the same menu. We might try it again and sit out on the patio.
Mother’s Day meal was a success! They had a buffet which had a myriad of options along with a coffee bar! It was louder than normal because it was absolutely packed! The service was phenomenal.
Meh pretty mediocre. Had been looking forward to trying location and was disappointed. Dark enough that not certain of cleanliness. Pizza not sizzling hot (starting to get mushy under the crust). Hubby’s steak fairly thin. Cocktail list short and unimaginative and the “craft” beers were common varieties. Will not go back
Ive had alot of good meals there, but the wings were the worst ever! Little meat, dried out.ill never order them again.
Way overpriced buffet. I found a very long hair in my food. Service was poor.
We made a reservation for Mother’s Day and we didn’t realize that for a 1pm reservation we were getting a buffet for breakfast. Several of us didn’t eat and grabbed a pizza after. We’re not big on buffets so it was disappointing.
Overall, the food and service were just okay for a Mother's Day brunch. I've been here previously and had great food and service. The manager seemed a bit frazzled and unorganized when we arrived. He couldn't find our reservation so he told the hostess to seat us at the "community" table, with high chairs. It was so wide, there was no way to have a conversation with the person across from you. We requested another table, since in my reservation I requested low seating because my 75-year old mother was dining with us. He told the hostess to, "put them over there," and pointed to a dirty table next to the bar. We waited for the table to be cleared and finally asked about getting seated and were rudely told, "I told you that you could sit over there." Were we supposed to seat ourselves or wait for the hostess to seat us? We weren't sure. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. I'm not sure we'll be back, at least for Mother's Day; maybe we'll try Murphy's Crafthouse when it isn't a holiday.
Attended mother's day brunch with family. White the food was very good, the dining experience wasn't great. Our table was next to brunch line so between traffic and crowded walk way it wasn't very enjoyable at all. Our waiter wasn't very attentive and ask two different times if our bill was ready to be checked out while I was still eating. Again, the food was quite good but I'm not sure I would go back for the brunch.
The outdoor seating is very nice and fun. The food at Murphy's is very good and reasonably priced.
Excellent food, service was pretty slow unfortunately. Still would go back though.
Wonderful food. So flavorful. Everyone was happy with their meal. Great place to meet up as a large group.
Overall, Easter Brunch experience was good. Several of the items listed on the buffet menu were not available while we were there. Server was friendly and attentive.
Most of the bacon was not cooked all the way at the time we were eating and the food was lukewarm. My son and I went to see the chicks and bunnies, but when we got back to our table, the busboy had cleared all of our plates and cups. We were not finished eating. I kind of felt like we were getting pushed out the door and we had not even been there for an hour. I was very disappointed at this time.
