    Relaxing dinner right next to the tall windows looking out at the Tetons. Salmon & prime rib were excellent. Plenty of time to watch complete sunset, no rush

    My husband and I ate at the Mural Room on two of the three nights we stayed at the Jackson Lake Lodge. The food, atmosphere, and amazing service we got from our waiter Alfredo made the entire dining experience great from beginning to end.

    I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Either my order or my dining partner order was incorrect each time. Service was very slow. The menu is also half of what was posted due to season winding down. View is amazing. Such a disappointment from a dining perspective.

    I expected better food. It wasn’t good. Our order came out less than 5 min after we ordered. It had obviously been plated and sitting a while. I had the bolognese. The noodles were so over done and slimy. The flavor was just ok. Spouse had salmon that was over cooked but tasted good and flavorless mashed potatoes. Their soda machine was not functioning. I know it’s the end of the season, but the restaurant wasn’t even half full. No excuse for poorly cooked food. Additionally there was some kind of conference and all the people were blocking the main reason to spend the extra $$ to eat there. The view. I have to say though, that the service was excellent and friendly.

    Our waitress was obviously inexperienced. I realize staffing is hard. We saw her 3 times. Ordering. Bringing check. Bring back receipt. She never checked on our food delivery which was served cold. For the price point I expect far better service. Especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy.

    Food was good but everything took way too long. Sat there for at least 20 minutes score a waiter came by. First drink arrived another 20 minutes later. It was a two hour+ experience and we did not get dessert or anything unusual. The waiter was very polite but was just not good. The lack of service ruined the experience

    Excellent view! The food was delicious. Kudos to our amazing server Miranda who gave us advice on the menu items. Her attentiveness was outstanding and so personable. I must mention the rice pilof was like no other, so good. Everything was great.

    The lodge is beautiful and the view from the Mural Room would have been fantastic if the weather cooperated. The service was fine but the meats were tough, un-seasoned and over-priced. The bread and side dishes were very good except for my granddaughter’s cold hard french fries. We will not be going back - I don’t recommend this restaurant to others.

    Everything was terrific. The portion sizes were just right so we were able to enjoy each course and not feel stuffed. Wine by the glass portion was also appropriate. Unfortunately The view of lake and mountains was not good because of bad weather but it was obvious that in normal weather it would be fantastic. We had window seats but could see that even seating away from the windows would still have fantastic views.

    Beautiful place with a scenic view. The server was very nice as well as efficient. The red trout was delicious. The bison dish was a little bland. Great place to go while in Grand Teton National Park!

    Our experience was disappointing at the Mural Room. We were seated by a post which obsured our view which is the primary reason for eating at this establishment. Our server was slow in introducing himself to the table and obtaining our pre-dinner drink order. The lady filling our water glasses was very attentative, though. We ordered two cesar salads with trout which were ok. The chicken dumpling soup and the the red trout entrees were very good. Acoustics were not the best and we found it difficult to hear our conversation at the table. We won't be back. Probably better just to have a drink on the terrace to enjoy the view.

    The dining room has a magnificent view of the Teton Mountain Range. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing. The Prime Rib was tasteless and the presentation was ordinary. The Osso Buco was mediocre and came with 3 green beans. The Pork Belly was an interesting preparation, but the Bok-Choi was all but absent. We did have a better experience having breakfast here. I would recommend it for breakfast, but skip the dinner.

    We had a lovely meal at the Mural Room. We started with the shrimp tostada appetizer which was amazing! My salmon was perfectly cooked and the burgundy mushrooms were fabulous! We definitely will return.

    We had to wait over 40 minutes past our reservation. Once we did get seated, it took over half an hour for them to come and take our order. The cocktails were excellent. The view was great. The bread was terrible. The food was cold. My salmon was over cooked the brocollini tasted like an ashtray. Overall not a good experience.

    Although the view was amazing, couldn't help but feel discriminated and slight racism from some of the staff and hostess (NOT ALL). It was apparent how poor the service was towards us compared to other diners. We were given only one piece of complimentary bread to share among the whole table and when we asked for more - none ever came. When we requested for a different table for a window-side view we were also denied the tables - hostess claiming they were booked by VIPs - but there were so many empty seats by the window and nobody ever ended taking the seats throughout our entire meal (1.5 hours) there. Food was also mediocre at best, prime rib and pasta was decent but the striploin was extremely burnt and tasted like literal coal. Overall, horrible experience and would not recommend especially if you're a minority like us.

    The Osso Bucco was beyond tough and not edible at all. We order a nice bottle of wine to have with our supper and they brought it after we were done eating. We tried to get our waiters attention but he had so many tables it was impossible. We ordered a drink first which came well after appetizers. Our waiter never inquired while one of the meals was not eaten.

    Of course an amazing view. Shades are drawn up when the sun sets behind the mountains. Everyone claps when the shades come up. We had the trout, chicken, and filet mignon which were all great. The pear soup was amazing. Luis was a great server. Spent the time to recommend the right dishes.

    The food in the Mural room is 5 stars. We enjoyed apetizers, salads, main courses, desserts and coffee. I would go back in a heart beat. The prices were comparable or on the lower side to a well run high-in restaurant. I highly recommend the Mural Room in the Grand Teton Lodge.

    The food for our party of 4 was amazing. Best filet mignon and wonderful service from Stephan. We look forward to dining at the Mural Room every year when we come to Grand Teton - one of the most beautiful places in the world.

    A dinner reservation was made for 6:45 and we still had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. Service was extremely slow. After an hour of ordering, our entree was delivered but they forgot to bring the appetizer/salad in which case we told them to forget the salad. They were out of the Elk bolognese which was featured on their menu. Since this is one of the nicer restaurants at the Jackson Lake Lodge (with high pricepoint menu), customer service doesn't seem to be a priority. And we found this to be the same vibe throughout the property.

    We arrived @5:55 and my res was @6:30. We were told they had to seat others first. I’m 100% sure the table we were sat at was empty while we waited. My brocollini smelled burned and was charred. So was my wife’s. The server was great. The view was great. Not a great pick for Gluten and dairy free folks. My Vegan son had one option out of the whole menu. So he had 2 orders of Udi’s gfree bread because he was still hungry. Such a fancy restaurant, they should have gfree rolls.

    The Mural Room has a beautiful backdrop of the Tetons. The food was okay, but expensive. The trout was a bit dry and the salad basic. Our sever was very nice. We absolutely love the old fashioned diner next door, which serves great food at a much better price—but no view.

    Our soup was stone cold. They tend to run out of ingredients as the evening progresses. However, we were never told that they had and were served the dish without most of the listed ingredients. They did comp us only after we complained. Their cocktails were great.

    Bison osso bucco was tasty BUT it was cooked way way too long. Even braised meat can be over cooked and this was the case. My wife’s filet was very nice and cooked to order but the mashed potatoes were much too thin. Both deserts , flourless chocolate cake and caramel apple cheesecake were poor, and certainly not worth the calories. In fact I commented to my wife that I think Costco has better. We have been visiting here for almost 30 years, this was the worst meal served to us in that time frame !!
