poor service..self important servers..we were given a table close to the service are with a lot of movement around..another couple who arrived a little after us were given a far better table..big drama by the hostess when we asked to change the table despite ample availability..underwhelming food..my partner's medium well steak was almost raw.. a very disappointing experience

You pay for the view! Worth the view. The service was SLOW! 40 minutes to get a glass of wine. Server was kind, but bar was so slow.

It’s a beautiful room with amazing views, although someone must have complained about the sun in their eyes so the shades were pulled down - what?? One person complains and the whole restaurant in that section loses the view. In terms of food, homemade rolls, nice flavor but not fresh. Cup of broccoli cheddar was only filled halfway and was $10, completely not worth it for 4oz of soup. There were three of us and one person got the bolognese- delicious pasta but barely any sauce so dry as a bone. Another got the steak, which he said was good. I got the 8pm prime rib which was tasty but the cut was so stingy, 1/4” thick (I’m not exaggerating), definitely not 8oz, charred broccoli, which was so burnt I couldn’t eat it, the au jus also was burnt and couldn’t be used on meat. Luckily the meat was moist so didn’t really need it.

We love eating at the Mural Room. A real issue with Jackson Wyoming is the inconsistency in the restaurants. Most are good one year and not so good the next. NOT SO with the Mural Room. Consistently, over 30 years now, we have enjoyed our meals here. And what a view. Great Food. Always excellent service. Fabulous ambience and view. We always hope to come here for our special occasions.

Got a drink in the Blue Heron across the hall prior to dinner. Same stunning views as the restaurant. Excellent drinks with a local twist. Carried drinks into restaurant - no problem. Sat at the windows. Stunning views. Service was friendly but lacking. We did not get our appetizer order - a mushroom based dish. Entrees arrived. Gave us the appetizers "on the house" but frankly it was unimpressive and felt rushed. We weren't really checked on during our meal, and waiter, despite being experienced at the lodge didn't know a thing about the wine list (which is pretty nice) - only some stock answers about what goes with what. Our entrees were the standouts of the evening. Wife had Idaho trout with sweet potato puree, pine nuts, sage brown butter sauce, and broccolini. Wonderfully done. I had a bison osso bucco which was excellent too with mashed potatoes instead of polenta, spinach, and a red wine reduction. For dessert we had a flourless chocolate cake and a lovely madeira.

The Mural Room has fabulous views, very good food, and excellent service. While the wine list could use some work, the dishes were varied and of high quality. Would definitely recommend for a night in Grand Teton.

Food and service was average. I have had better steaks at chain restaurants. The salad did not look fresh. When you spend a lot of money you expect better than average food. The location is beautiful. Just go to the lodge for the views but not the restaurant. Was very disappointed since this was the big meal I chose for the family on our trip.
