   We went here for my husband's birthday and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious and thoughtfully curated. They even managed to surprise him at the end of dinner with a dessert and a birthday card. Highly recommend this place!

   Its a pretty cozy restaurant. The dishes were all gourmet, very tasty, and nicely presented. However, the highest quality beef appetizer was stringy and very chewy. Additionally, we arrived at 5:30 at opening, but it took 1/2 hour to get our first appetizer. I loved their Saratoga sparkling water but I was a little chilly so I asked for their hot green tea in addition. I was told that the tea usually comes with desert, but the waitress would accommodate me. However, she forgot and had to be reminded. This restaurant is a little like Alice Water's and doesn't let you know what you will be eating until you get it. this would disappoint some people. My husband thought he might leave hungry given the size of the dishes, but I gave him my duck skin which was nice and crispy and he left satiated. Upon leaving we noticed one couple with a 6 pack of beer. Evidentally the restaurant does not yet have a liquor license, but if you bring your own they don't object. The price is quite high just for the food however. The two fo us left with a $250 bill. We eat at Chex Panisse for less. It was worth a one time check out...but for us, that's all.

   We had a very nice dinner. Come hungry, don't be in a rush. Excellent restaurant for enjoying a fine evening of good food and conversation.

   A delightful place to share conversation as well as wonderful food, sourced for the highest quality and artfully prepared. The new 5-course prix fixe menu provides more food than we can consume, a delicious lunch the next day.

   AMAZING, unique, complex flavors told through sumptuous 5 course prie fixe meal—tangy-tomato soup; chicken Sikh Kabab; sweet and sour garbanzos with spinach wafers; black cod masala; spicy lamb chops; and saffron and rose water rice pudding. You only find food like this in India!!!
