My lates never disappoints! We visit anytime we are in NOLA!
The Food, service, and atmosphere was definitely amazing.
Food was delicious.
Service was awful. Beer cooler broken for two days. Dip appetizer was delyed because waitress ordered jt wrong. Brought wrong order. Tried charging for three beers when we only ordered two and wanted to argue. None of tnis "wasn't her fault. It was ours."
Food, music, service, everything super!
Location was great, right across the street from the convention center. Food was pretty good, I got the standard New Orleans fare of red beans and rice. Unfortunately the service was really poor, most likely due to lack of staffing which I understand is difficult in these times
Great food and service. Music was wonderful. I wish I could have stayed to listen longer!
We were not aware that there was going to be live music, so that was a bit noise we were not excited for. The food was good but just like other food in New Orleans it's heavily seasoned with salt and the sweets with too much sugar. If you're not used to alot of salt and sugar (spices are fine) this might be a lot. Also no greens/vegetables available...but I guess that is mot what they are famous for. Overall the service was good, food was tasty but do drink a lot of water afterwards
We ordered 2 hurricanes (delicious), alligator bites, jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp étouffée, a Cajun cobb salad, and a slice of warm pecan pie. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was super nice and offered her guidance with a few menu items. I highly recommend for real creole Cajun food.
Overall great experience. It was not crowded and the atmosphere felt like New Orleans.
Fun place with local Zydeco music and traditional Cajun food.
Excellent food, good service, fun place to go. Highly recommend.
Very disappointed. Quality of the food was similar to a chain restaurant.
Had great food and Cajun music
Nice place to laugh. eat, and enjoy yourself. Due to COVID was a little to quiet, but we still enjoyed Mulate's.
Never have been disappointed! Delicious food and great wait staff!!
Best bread pudding I have EVER had! Our server was as amazing as well :)
Casual, family friendly place with live Louisiana music. The food was absolutely delicious! Six in our party and everyone loved the appetizers and meal. The sweet corn bread, the spinach artichoke dip, the gumbo, jambalaya, bbq shrimp…we all cleaned our plates. Friendly and attentive service, beautiful bathrooms! Highly recommend!
Went for lunch. The food was great and the oysters were terrific!! So were the alligator bites!!
Food was amazing, service was superb and the atmosphere was so fun with the band and dancing
Menu was missing red beans and rice!! Also Jambalaya should be a staple on your menu….had to really search tofu d it as a side. Dessert was clearly NOT homemade, portions were lunch size at best. Food had good flavor, arrived hot. The band was delightful and made up for other shortcomings. Definitely need more staff!
More touristy. Much better places at this price point. Would not return.
Mulates has only been reopened a few weeks, despite their short staff - the employees all worked so hard. We had a wonderful dinner, live music was awesome and delicious bread pudding yo end the evening.
We have been waiting for them to reopen since they closed in March 2020. The fried shrimp is amazing. The bread pudding is a must! The service was exceptional and the manager stopped by the table to see if I needed a refill which was going above and beyond.
Very expensive and the crawfish etouffe was mediocre at best
Service was not great and my soup was cold. Too expensive for what we got.
