Fantastic experience. First off the views and ambience on the dining patio were fabulous! The waiter Chris was one of the best. He was attentive and friendly. Our meal was scrumptious. Swordfish cooked perfectly with beautiful presentation. We would definitely go back.
Note: We took a taxi up, and walked back to enjoy the views along the way.

Such a lovely spot, sitting on the patio overlooking Avalon. Truly enjoyable. Nice food and plenty of wine which is included in the price. Chris, our waiter, was superb.

The view alone is worth a million! The service was outstanding, minus the driver from Mt. Ada who refused to take us up from the ferry terminal, but served us a drink once we arrived. The noise was loud due to a large crowd, and the service slow but, the wait staff apologized numerous times for the inconvenience. The menu needs updated for sure, and the steak was much better than the swordfish. It was a wonderful place for a date. Make your reservations early & take a taxi up- Cash Only.

I have been visiting Catalina for many years and this was my first time to Mt. Ada. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for the best service and views on the island to spend the afternoon there. Its a little bit of magic in today's world.

View could not be more spectacular, and the mansion is lovely. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, but food was okay at best. The draw here is the ambience and view, not the food. Small details, like paper napkins, seem out of place in this atmosphere.

You can't beat the food or quality of service.! The view from the house overlooking Avalon Harbor provides for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. We cannot go to Catalina without staying or eating at Mt. Ada. It is a very special place. We highly recommend it.

Our favorite day in Catalina was having lunch at Mt. Ada, overlooking the bay with a wonderful view of the Casino near Descanso Beach. So much history with the Wrigley family. Shawn, our server at lunch, paid close attention to our needs with awesome service. The food was superb offered as a prefix menu of 3 courses, including you choice of wine, beer or champagne. We enjoyed the Dungeness Crab Cakes as an appetizer, and I had baked Pacific Swordfish and my husband had he grilled Brazino (Seabass) Fish cooked perfectly as entrees. The lemon pie was the best I've had, but, would pass on the undercooked rice in the Poor Man's Tapioca. Will come back for sure.....delightful.

It was our first time in Catalina Island so I picked ideally and potentially the best spot to dine. I thought at the Wrigley Mansion our dining experience will be fabulous.
The ambiance and the serving staff was outstanding, however Wrigley Mansion needs to hire a new chef immediately. It’s beyond embarrassing for them to have to serve endless wine to their customers just staying. Their food is so bad, I can not even score it.
Good luck going their, for the ambience.

What an incredible experience!
We were celebrating by husband’s 50th birthday. We grew up visiting Catalina Island but never had the opportunity to actually go through the gates and see the mansion.
The staff was so friendly and welcoming.
The food and beverage offerings were amazing and the view was breathtaking.
I highly recommend this opportunity.
The history and beauty is really breathtaking.
Next time we go, we will go as guests of Mt Ada B&B. I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience lunch in the patio at Mt. Ada!!!!!!

Outstanding location. Very special. That's why the overall rating is not one-star.

Our service was pathetic. But we saw another waiter in action who was excellent. The food: worst ever. I have eaten swordfish all over California. This was the worst. I'm not even sure it was swordfish. Nothing we were served was above average, and most of it failed to meet that mark.

There is so much good about Mt. Ada. Charge more if you have to, but serve food that equals the location. And hire the quality servers that diners expect when paying $62 for lunch.

Lunch at Mt. Ada is not befitting of the Wrigley name or of the Santa Catalina Island Company.

On August 2, 2019. will be the most memorable day of this year. My sisters and I had the most fabulous time of our life. Leaving Newport Beach at 9 am and arriving at Catalina Island on time at 10:30 am. Once we hit land it was all about securing our Golfcart that was prepaid and reserved in advance. Catalina GolfCart turned out to be the most challenging event of the day. The drive took about 40 mins to Mt. Ada. the scenery overlooking Catalina Island was breathtaking. Upon our arrival, we received a warm greeting from the staff of Mt. Ada Wrinkle Mansion. The food was magnificent. As if it was prepared for a Queen. The selection of wine complimented the entree as well as the main course meal. The service we received was more then what we had expected. I would recommend dining at Mt. Ada.

We have had lunch at Mt. Ada several times and loved it each time, including this one. The view alone is worth the trip. I had the Crab cake, the Bronzino Fish, the lemon pie and it was all perfect! Also Champagne Mimosas are part of the meal! Can't wait until next year so we can go back!

This was our second time dining at Mt. Ada. The first time we sat inside. This time we dined outside. The view and ambience is spectacular. I feel like the view from Mt. Ada is one of the best in Avalon. The menu was not current. They had items on it that were not serving and typos. The pea and burrata appetizer with grapefruit was good. The trout was good but a bit dry. The pineapple upside down cake was good. The lemon meringue with bourbon ice cream was outstanding as well as the crab cake. There were many bees on the outdoor terrace which made dining a bit uncomfortable. I feel that dining at Mt. Ada would enhance anyone's stay in Avalon. Sarah who was helping out for the day was excellent and a great hospitality asset. Chris our server was professional and great as well.
