MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual is defined by what we aren’t, as opposed to what we are. We aren’t like other steakhouses. No dark lighting, starched tablecloths, pretentious servers or overpriced steaks. From our signature steaks to our famous Mikeburger®, we have something for every taste and budget. Enjoy Happiest Hours pricing daily from 2pm to 5pm and 9pm to close, and lunch and dinner service everyday.     Worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Took 20mins for someone to come take our order. About 30mins for our chicken salads to be delivered to the table. No one checked on us for 45 mins after dropping off the food. Restaurant wasn’t even busy, only 5 tables of guests. Only two servers on staff, again not busy though, that seemed more interested in socializing with each other than anything else.

    Waitress was great at first. Someone dropped off our food and never came back to see us. My salad I ordered as my side item at an upcharge was drenched in dressing and was not good. After 20 minutes I said to my husband you can eat it, as I was done waiting for our waitress to change it. When I told her she shrugged it off. Was not at all impressed. We have always enjoyed Mr Mikes! When leaving we saw she was given a big table, at that point they should have given her small table to someone else!

    Always have a good time at Mr.Mikes. Our waitress was very pleasant and checked on us regarly. The food was great as always.

    Food was adequate but service was questionable. Advised server drink was watery tasting. She said she would talk to bartender but went into kitchen instead. Manger did come but was not really keen and on resolving issue but did offer up alternative. Server took it personal which should not have happened Not sure how an electric ice tea could be one once so ordered double and all four tasted it including the 2 designated driver and nobody could taste any alcohol in double.

    Food and service was great as usual. 2 notes: 1st, the bruschetta was extremely spicy compared to other times visiting this location and our usual location of Duncan. It was so spicy my husband couldn’t eat it and my eyes and nose were leaking! 2nd, the size of the garlic bread has decreased significantly, so our friend ordered another one and was charged $3.99. The garlic bread used to be pretty big and thick sliced but was now thin and the size of a tortilla chip. Price was great as we ate off the happy hour menu. Great deals.

    Oh, I was hoping that since a month had gone by that the booth bench cushions had been replaced, but alas…. Worse was the sticky table we were first offered, so we just switched booths. Still dangerously sharp/broken leatherette cushions if you are wearing history or knit slacks/pants. Ambiance: Monday night, VERY casual. Can’t hold against mgmt the screaming toddler. Family-friendly and family not controlling their children atmosphere. Food: Good. Salad was fresh and had an interesting mix variety and the salmon topper was nicely grilled (I broke my no-Monday-Seafood Anthony Bourdain Rule). The filet was cooked perfectly and we’d recommend sauce on the side. Surprised the seasonal vegetables was one cooked carrot (what you’d expect in the dead of winter). Wait staff were very pleasant, and noted and apologized for the length of time it took for service. Note what they are billed: Very CASUAL environment is accurate.

    Made a 7pm reservation and when we arrived we were told there were no servers available in the restaurant. Had I been contacted, I would have made other arrangements but I wasn't called or emailed at all. They moved our party of 3, which included my elderly father, to the lounge side where the upholstery was torn on all the seats which made it uncomfortable to sit on wearing shorts. The server messed up my father's food order and he was given a Mike Burger instead of the Steak Sandwich he asked for. When she finally came around to ask "how everything was tasting" and the mistake was brought to her attention, she did appologize , but did not make it right in ANY way. Used to love Mr Mikes but this visit BOMBED!!

    So so bad. I didn't expect much, but it was far worse than I expected. It was father's day. They were not staffed for it... not that it was actually that busy—maybe half full at its peak. Servers were rude and just not good at their jobs... kept making excuses about being understaffed, but I've worked in restaurants and they were not busy. Food took well over an hour. When we asked about it (at the one hour mark) we were told that half of our food was ready if we didn't mind eating separately. The other food came 20 minutes later. (Surprise!) It was somehow ALL cold and terrible. How is this place still in business?
