   Our first dining experience at Mozelle's and it was awesome. We were promptly seated. Note, this is a small intimate restaurant with outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Parking is on the street so allow time to find a spot. It's a busy intersection with at least 3 restaurants' patrons vying for spaces in a residential neighborhood. But the parking challenge is certainly worth it! We enjoyed attentive and professional service from Sandra. Our entrees were the catch of the day and the chef's special, swordfish and halibut, respectively. Both outstanding. We enjoyed the spotlights wine, an Austrian red blend that I was not familiar with. WS has many outstanding restaurants. Mozelle's is near the top.

   My wife and I enjoy restaurants with unique menus and ambiances. Mozelle's checks off both, emphatically. Throw in a beautiful afternoon, like today, with a table alongside a sparsely-traveled sidewalk in a clean, quiet neighborhood, and the episode becomes a special memory. Service at Mozelle's deserves its own paragraph: we arrived 20 minutes early for a Friday 1645 reservation, and we were greeted enthusiastically and politely by a polished young host that offered us our choice of tables. From there on, things flowed. Dinner happened on a perfect pace, order, appetizers, and check-in-hand in about 80 minutes. Service was highly attentive without compromising that perception that my bride and I were enjoying a very private dinner. It was a perfect dinner! Thank you Mozelle's. We will return for many more!

   Mozelle‘s is very unique and charming however, the inside seating is literally on top of each other. It gets very loud because the kitchen is about 3 feet away from your tables and then each table is about a foot and a half apart. The space is unique, but not very inviting Because of the lack of privacy and the noise level. Although the food is good, I’m not sure that it makes up for that discomfort.

   Mozelle's is a top-notch restaurant. A rare find. Spectacular food and experience. The tomato pie is to die for. Everything was great.

   We like eating outside, but the ambient traffic noise, which is to be expected, was loud. Our server was excellent and food great as always.

   In the springtime, sitting outside with a delightful lunch makes life so much more enjoyable. It makes meeting at Mozelle's in W-S, or Betty on Burke, so well worth while.

    The staff is impeccable, as is the food! Get a reservation as this little gem in west Winston Salem is very busy … all the time. And, for good reason! Mozelle’s never disappoints!
