We named our restaurant Mozaic because we wanted to capture the diversity of flavors and culmination of authentic Mediterranean dishes that we offer. We bring together the best of Mediterranean recipes from Greece, Lebanon, Turkey and Sicily, emphasizing Middle Eastern influence.

Our menu is hand-crafted after years of experience in the restaurant business knowing what people like. We make every dish completely authentic, utilizing 100 years old techniques that have been passed down through generations to bring you incredible flavor. COME AND TASTE THE DIFFERENCE We seek only the best, local ingredients. We use high-quality meats, like our Australian lamb tenderloin and select only sustainable seafood. Our lavash comes from an authentic Persian bakery.

Everyone wants family. Mozaic is a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone can feel at home. Come enjoy our incredible and lush atmosphere.

Server was nice but the food was terrible. Salmon burger inedible, and the chicken skewer was rubbery and served on a bed of very greasy rice. Iced tea tasted like coffee We were the ONLY table except for on man at the bar who seemed to be a friend of the server. There were flys buzzing at the entry and it smelled of old food. We had made a reservation (obviously not needed) and wanted to leave but felt locked in after being seated. The bread was good but they charged us extra for 3 small pieces. Do NOT recommend.

From the very beginning, we felt welcomed. The proprietor dropped by our table twice to chat and to make sure we weren’t lacking for anything. We shared the generous and tasty mezze platter and then calamari and salad. On prior visits, we have enjoyed their burgers, and wish they would put the lamb burger on regular rotation. It looked like a good place to go as a solo diner to catch a game at the bar This resto has earned a place in our regular rotation.

We’ve never been disappointed at Mozaic. They serve yummy Mediterranean fare in perfect portions at the right price point. Service was friendly and efficient.

Not just a great dinner spot, Mosaic offers a fantastic lunch experience.The food is flavorful, the staff is friendly. When downtown stop in for a beverage, cocktail, and a nice meal. Thanks again Jay, your place is a favorite!

Very happy to find Mozaic on a side street near the main nightlife avenue in Santa Cruz. We had the chicken skewers with Mediterranean salad, along with lentil, soup and dolmas. Everything was perfectly prepared. We couldn’t be happier. Of course it’s expensive to eat out these days especially in an area that is popular with tourism which Santa Cruz is. We spent with tip and two glasses of wine $90. We will definitely come back next time. We have a mini vacation from the SF bay area.
