   Lovely cosy, warm and relaxed environment. Really friendly and helpful staff, who explained how it all worked to us newbies. Delicious food. Can’t fault it. Will def go back. The Sunday sharing fish roast dinner was a great idea and 100% delicious. Better value per head I think than a normal pub roast dinner, which really costs the same in the end. My only regret is that we couldn’t finish it all. Loved it. Good for families too.

   Our most loved neighbourhood restaurant. Lovely friendly service and food is brilliantly fresh and from an interesting menu with something for everyone. A real local treasure!

   We enjoyed as we have on previous occasions beautifully fresh oysters and a selection of small plates, together with a very respectable house white. Service was very pleasant and efficient, we didn’t feel rushed. Plan to return in the future. Thanks!

   Food was good, mushy peas unusual but tastes great. Staff friendly and very helpful. But it was a bit cold in there. I will definitely visit again with family and friends. Thank you.

   We had a really good evening at Moxons next door. Its a really good option for seafood lovers, as the dishes are tasty yet un-fussy, allowing you to really enjoy the taste of the fish. In addition to this the service was excellent, particularity as our waiter offered to fillet the fish at the table which was much appreciated.

    Superb food as always. Very impressed that the waitress made notes of our wine choices from our last visit. Still one of my favourite places to eat.
