   Service was excellent! Had 2 servers and they were so attentive and sweet. Couldn’t ask for a nicer evening with my sisters.

   We celebrated an 18th birthday and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. Food was amazing.

   I haven’t eaten at Moxies for years but I saw they had an experience menu through the YYC Exp event going on so we decided to check it out. The food was SO good! Waaaaaay too much food! Our server was great! The ambiance of this location is okay but it’s about what you would expect for a hotel bar/restaurant. For 45/pp we each got to pick an appetizer, main and dessert. We shared the chili chicken and tuna stacks and then got the mango chicken and rigatoni for our mains. Brownie and toffee cake for dessert. All so good but I think we left with enough food for three more meals! Honestly if we did that again only one of us would do the tasting menu and we would just share… Their beer selection is lacking and could have a couple more IPA options or local craft beer options and their jalapeño margarita was meh (but I’m picky with my margaritas haha). Our server, Madison, was attentive and lovely! Great date night overall!

   UPDATE; the restaurant manager asked if I could reach out so they could make it right, so I did and one week later… crickets. I’m assuming they just wanted Open Table to think they had actually made it right with their comment? If I could give negative stars I would. How disappointing. Our night might have been the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I made a reservation a week ahead for the dining room specifically. We showed up and were gaslit into thinking we hadn’t booked the dining room and were put in the extremely loud lounge, only to find out later that 3 other tables had also booked the dining room and were also moved to the lounge (including a family with very young kids) to accommodate a very large group that came in. That was just the beginning; we’re given waters with chunks floating in them, and one glass had some kind of stick in the bottom (maybe a twig?). I ordered a decaf coffee which came half full and cold. I wish I took photos as it was all so ridiculous. Our food took quite a long time to come out and once we were served dinner we were basically forgotten about. No refills of water, no one came to ask if we wanted dessert and we had to finally just ask for our bill. The food was good so I would go to a different Moxies but we will never go back to this location again. Horrible service.
