The lasagna was delicious! Service was excellent!
8 friends and family gathered from Akaska, San Diego and Palm Springs. We had a lovely window table, great service, food was delicious and very appealing to the eye.
Excellent service, very friendly staff. $10 Lasagna night was well worth it!
Scenic spot to meet up with friends for breakfast. The quality of the food and the beautiful view of the golf course was appreciated by all!
Great meal. The Valentines meal was really good. I had the rack of lamb- very good and lots of meat as well as well prepared vegetables. Hubby had the Beef Wellington - very beefy and plenty of food. Great service and very friendly. Good wine list. Highly recommend.
Valentines Day brought beef Wellington, an item not usually on their menu, and it was superb. The Trish Hadley duo provided romantic jazz in the background, and the service was a total delight.
They have a wonderful Thursday night special on Fish and Chips for $10.00. The staff is wonderful and a very nice place for dinner.
We arrived early to enjoy beers before the $10 (yes, ten bucks!) fish, fries, and coleslaw dinner was served. The place filled up before 6:00 pm, and they had a ladies golf banquet in the Masters Lounge. As busy as it was, our service was first rate!
Great dining experience always. Food is great. Staff is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. Beautiful views.
Tuesday night lasagna at the Mountain View Grill is a delicious bargain. Of course I had a $5.00 glass of house cab to go with it. Staff was very pleasant and we'll be back again - maybe every Tuesday night.
I will be back. Only my second time but I'm glad I'm a member here.
We made an early reservation as we had our 7 year old granddaughter with us and she is used to eating early. The place was packed! Service was incredibly great with Leslie as our server. We ordered the prime rib special and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. On Friday nights, they have live entertainment and the singer and her accompanist were great! This restaurant offers so many different choices on their menu, the cocktails are perfectly made by Sandy and the views are outstanding. It is our favorite go-to place in the desert.
There have been times when I thought the serving process was a little slow, but on this evening everything was running smoothly. And, I have to say, the salmon is outstanding.
My wife and I have dined at the Grille on two other occasions. Once for prime rib and once for fish and chips. The beef was very good and the fish was mediocre. This last experience was bad start to finish. When seated we waited a very long time for salad only to have the incorrect dressings. Again a wait for the correct dressings followed by what we thought would be the main course. We waited an eternity and finally had to ask the waitress when our meal would be up. Sometime later they finally came with it, only to be Luke warm at best and the garlic toast dead cold. It was the worst meal we have had in a very long time. We don't normally eat out, just for these very reasons. Our wait times were quite long as well on the other occasions we were there. It's unlikely we will be back anytime soon. We have also told several people of the deficiencies the we experienced.
The key is hot food and no wait!
Lasagna night was a huge disappointment. We're one of the few people that had a dinner reservation and they had to run out of lasagna 45 minutes before we even got there. Service was slow and the whole pace of the place was chaotic.
We've had better nights there so we will try it again on a different Tuesday.
how about a meatloaf/pot roast night ? '''''''''''''''''
As usual, we had another great dinner here with some good friends. The service by Leslie was exceptional. The food was fabulous. Two of us had the prime rib special and it was delicious. One had fish and chips and one had the filet of sole. We all loved our food and everything was prepared perfectly. The menu offers something for everyone and we love eating here.
Typical sterile golf clubhouse setting with less than zero ambiance. Totally dead. We were told that they had run out of filet mignon after our order had been taken and 3 of 6 of us had ordered it. Decent food though and we had a good waitress. Recommend you reserve early and stay in the PS downtown.
With a 6 year old and a 3 year old the corner table was great...
Great food choices and specials. Very friendly staff, and a phenomenal view.
Just love this place. Dan (the manager) has made it into a class operation. The staff had made it into a proper dining room with tablecloths, fancy chairs, etc. The buffet was large and portions generous. Very much enjoyed the whole Thanksgiving experience. And I highly recommend the Mountain View Grille for breakfast, particularly when the weather allows outside dining. The views from the veranda are incredible.
We decided to try the fried chicken special offered on Tuesday nights and it was fabulous. The chicken was very moist with a crunchy crust. Mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw and a biscuit made for the perfect dinner. Service was great and it was a wonderful quiet evening. The food is always delicious and the menu offers many great choices. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Great fish and chips. Chicken pot pie is a hit. The serving staff is efficient and pleasant. Great location.
When we arrived we waited for seating for a good 10 minutes. We were ignored! We finally looked at the restaurant schedule and found out the restaurant closed at 6:00 PM. The time we reserved a table. Come on guys. You don't even know your own hours. You guys SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fish and chip special on Thursday was great. The food was good and you can’t beat the price of $10. Very friendly staff.
The food was delicious and priced reasonably. The Servers were friendly, efficient, and worked together as a team to address diners’ needs. Ambiance was welcoming and relaxed. You don’t have to reside at Desert Princess to dine at the Mountain View Grille.
We were very pleased with the quality of the food, the value and service. We will definitely come back again.
A wonderful evening!
Fantastic golf course and mountain views. Great menu choices, and Trish and David were great! Very enjoyable.
Good food, bottomless champagne, and great view. What more could you ask for!
