Mott 32 - Las Vegas
Simply outstanding service. I strongly recommend the Peking Duck and Quail egg Dim Sum.
We ordered the Pekin Duck. It was neatly presented at the table, inclusive they suggested pictures. The chef started the carving, and halfway thru he took our duck cart to a nearby table to finish the carving and service to them. I love oriental food and this is my first. We talked to the waiter and said that it was always like that.
One the other hand, the restaurant marks up wine 4x-5x, which makes it imposible to order wine with food.
Overall the flavour is good, but the experience is not what it used to be. I would really suggest they review their price strategy, specially regarding wine.
Locals hit the Strip! My wife selected Mott 32 for a Birthday Celebration. Exciting and energetic ambiance. Music a little too loud for aged ears. Table Service by Carmen fun and efficient. Eclectic décor. Is this an Asian Restaurant?
Remember that you DO need to preorder anything "duck". Highlight Vegetable: Wok Fried Chinese Broccoli. Seafood: Crispy Pacific Ocean Prawns. A seasonal Pumpkin Cream Soup and the Hot and Sour seafood-based Soup. For simpler tastes, the Beef and Broccoli.
Excellent Wine-by-the Glass selections. Full Bar. A great value all-around. We will definitely return. Once the Food Service Business is stabilized a focus on dress code might be appropriate. "Business Casual" should not include slip slops, shorts or tank tops! Just saying!
Service was slow. Need to order the duck 36 hours in advance. Reservation should have indicated that. Food was not as good as expected.
Can not say enough great thing about this restaurant.. prompt,, professional, friendly service. Bar service amazing with outstanding inventive cocktails selection. Seated on time with dinner reservations... food served hot and fresh. Servers were attentive and very helpful with selections and very knowledgeable of menus and ingredients. First class establishment for sure... dress up, take your time and enjoy a night at Mott 32. Yumm Yumm!!
I have dined at the Hong Kong Mott32 many times so I thought “how different could the Las Vegas version be”. Boy was I wrong.
Food wasnt bad but if u walk in thinking this must be on par with the HK location, you are in for a treat. Not only did it cost more by roughly 30% vs HK Mott32, the food didnt taste good.
Additionally, waitress kept pushing few items off the menu. So we took her recommendations, which turned out to be a big mistake.
As she suggested, we ordered the special rare fish that somehow made it into their kitchen. Not asking how much it was, we decided to order the fish plus few items on the menu. In addition to the fish we ordered some “on the menu” items.
When the bill came we were shocked. Fish cost 250 USD which was almost 10x most other dish on their menu. I wished our waitress at least gave us a heads up before we ordered. In total th bill came to 600 USD. We hardly drank any alcohol. We also missed out on the roasted duck because we didnt preorder.
I went to Mott32 thinking about Mott3 in Vegas but it was disappointing. I would not go back to the Vegas location again.
Absolutely outstanding! Best meal in Vegas! Still dreaming about those dumplings. Great service, ambiance, and food!
Great food and service
Hands down best meal start to finish.
The food is amaizing, the duck is the best and great servicié
Excellent experience. This was our 2nd time and the prices are not high based on the quality of the dishes. The biggest factor is the dishes are unique and not available in most Chinese restaurants.
Excellent Service by the staff
Our server was really great, and kept a good eye on us without hovering. All of our food was phenomenal from the Szechuan chicken, which we were very intrigued by and almost fascinated by the numbing effect, to the Wagyu with mushroom, to the soup dumplings. Everything was so very good. Next time we will definitely reserve a duck!!!
Absolutely delicious fresh Chinese modern food
Service was a 3 star Michelin restaurant
La atención del personal extraordinaria, amabilidad y atención, recomendaciones según nuestros gustos y preferencias
You and your fellow dinner guests will be thrilled, so don’t hesitate. Time and time again food quality, presentation and quantity are unsurpassed. Most restaurants have cut back lately (smaller portions, less ingredients, higher prices) but not Mott 32. Chinese food done right, and I am grateful as this means extra trips to Vegas approved by the boss (Wife) for the food…
Made reservations two months in advance as I’ve been hearing about lineups everywhere. I wanted to treat my husband to a memorable meal as it was his 50th so I also put in a reservation for their Peking Duck. I didn’t mention the birthday and yet when we were seated to our table, it was a lovely, somewhat secluded booth, slightly raised from the main floor and it couldn’t be more perfect. Lot’s of table space for the multitude of small dishes we wanted to try. Marinated cucumbers; cold, garlicky, scrumptious! Pork buns with a slight sweet coating- tastes like the steamed pork buns had a kid with Kristen Keene donuts, light as a cloud and could have eaten a dozen! Ordered both types of soup dumplings, the Ibirico pork and the sweet and sour; savoury, juicy, full of flavour. We’d do all of these again on our next visit. Peking duck is carved table side and though our sweet server said that the meal just provided about 4-6 ounces of duck for the wrappers, it shouldn’t fill us up too much. She lied! It was more than enough food for the two of us, no where near the fattiness that I’ve experienced with duck before. Moist, the wrappers were as thin as paper yet held up without tearing when we made our wrappers. I also highly recommend ordering the follow up dish using the carcass. The kitchen chopped it up and stir fries it with garlic and chilies so it’s crispy little pieces to eat with your fingers. Service was impeccable, fun to chat with and gave us our space when we needed to just indulge. Their mock tails are worth trying, the recipes are so unique for a drink with no alcohol and we had their Jasmine tea during the meal which definitely helped with digestion so we didn’t feel overly stuffed at the end. Mott 32 will now be a staple to go to for each trip.
You can never go wrong with their menu.
I had the triple cooked beef short rib, and for whatever reason it was still extremely fatty. I don’t think it was worth the $88 price. The sweet and sour dumplings were excellent and well as the crispy szcheuan chicken. Drinks and ambiance were good as well!
Went here fir my birthday. Amazing meal. Hot and sour soup dumplings were amazing.
This is our second time at Mott 32 and it was fabulous. We started with a signature cocktail - which I don't usually do. Had one with gin, one with vodka and one that was smokey (didn't like that one).
Ordered the Soup Dumplings (think deconstructed wonton soup) and shumai with quail egg and truffle. Both were amazing.
We preordered the duck (via email), and despite it's cost, it was the perfect amount for 2 and the best duck... The crispy skin is what really makes it amazing. Sprinkled with a little brown sugar and it's heaven.
The chocolate au fondant was odd - too much matcha. It has a matcha mousse on the side and the chocolate lava cake has a gooey matcha center so when you cut into it, it looks like Spock's blood. It's just too much. My recommendation would be to make it all chocolate.
Service was impeccable. When we're back in town, we'll be back!
It was my birthday and we had pre-ordered the duck so all good there. Our server was very charming and friendly and took great care of us. We started with a cocktail and split a bottle of wine. The soup dumplings were delicious. The duck was very tasty and more than enough for 2 people. We were not offered us a second dish with the leftover meat, which was a surprise as I thought they did that, but no matter as we were already full. We left and were overall pleased with the experience. BUT I woke up at 1am and was violently sick - had to be the food. Very sad.
It was so good, the food brought tears to my eyes. The ambiance and the impeccable service were so complementary to the overall experience. The waiter went above and beyond to educate us on the significance of the spices and regions of Asian they came from. I can’t wait to go back. My friends face says it all.
Prixe Fixe was absolutely the best decision . We ordered it with the wine pairing. For two $338.00 before tip. We will do it again our next trip to Vegas.
They were short staffed but our waitress was amazing and everything she recommended was the best of the best.
Amazing will defiantly be returning
This was the best food we had on our trip. The service was excellent and everything we ordered was spectacular. The dumplings were exquisite and everything was done to perfection.
Service was terrrible. Appetizers arrived after we had our our entrées half eaten. Drink refills nonexistent. Overpriced food that tasted like chinese takeout.
Fantastic food and services
Had my birthday dinner here, food and service was off the charts, such a delicious experience! Hope to be back soon!
It was pretty good good. We had just got married and came in for dinner. They had a post card on the table with congrats & also we got 3 glasses of bubbly. The BBQ pork buns were amazing. The matcha chocolate gateaux was allllright but not great. The szechezwan chicken was delcious as well as the xiao long bao soup dumplings - fantastic - wish we had more!
Salina was amazing.
The Mott reference is a nod to Mott St in lower Manhattan and stands toe to toe with that famous street. 100% AUTHENTIC
Mott 32 exceeded all expectations!! Service was amazing, food was incredible, atmosphere was amazing!
The worst experience since I remember.
We were celebrating my son birthday, but we didn’t know open table reservation do not deserve duck !!
It was really offensive each other table in our room asked for duck, except for us, because it was “sold out”, even they came after us.
We better moved to other restaurant for dessert.
Overpriced and overhyped. Better Cantonese food at hole in the wall places.
I made a reservation at 6:30 pm because I saw in one of the reviews that they run out of their Peking duck meal fairly fast.
Reservation was made for a special 60th birthday celebration. As soon as we’re seated, the hostess said that they were out of the barbecue items which included the Peking duck. She said that we were supposed to reserve the duck 2 days prior to the reservation and actually didn’t matter if we did reserve because they ran out two days prior to our reservation anyway.
Frustrated because we went there specifically for the duck. Ask if hostess can recommend other dishes, so she handed us the menu. The restaurant is very dimly lit and the menu font size was minuscule.
At that point, we all decided to go somewhere else so asked the hostess if she can recommend another place, she did, the restaurant nearest to them, Majordomo, which was closed and seems to have been closed for a while.
I mean, where in sane world do you reserve a duck two days prior to dinner reservation?
We saw a coUple of people walking into the restaurant and walked out as well.
Worst restaurant and service ever!!!
Negative 5 stars!!!
So tried this on a whim not realizing you needed to preorder the Peking duck, disappointed I wasn’t able to try it due to this. Ended up ordering a few dim sum and other entrees along with some green tea. The service and atmosphere is top notch, but gotta say nothing about the food really impressed me. It wasn’t bad under any circumstances, but nothing really wowed me to a point of possibly returning. While I’m still curious about the duck, that maybe the only thing I return for. The dumplings were actually pretty good too and are a great side/appetizer dish. Overall the experience wasn’t bad, just not great in my opinion. I will say the lobster threw me as it is covered in a jelly like sauce and hard to pull from the shell. While a unique take, ended up sending it back after spending 20 mins trying to get one piece of meat out.
