We tried pies at 2 places in Covent Gardens. Mother Mash has the best pies. The top crust is flaky and crispy. I tried the beef and stout ale. Hubby tried the ground beef. Mashed potatoes were good too and I orders it with cheese and green onions and farmer’s gravy with mushrooms. It’s a casual place with seating for about 40. Highly recommend reservations. I’d go back in a heartbeat but we have other places to try so we won’t have a chance to return on this trip.

We wanted to try some traditional pie and stumbled upon this place. First impression was already great because the staff was so nice and accommodating. And then the food arrived - wow, delicious! Would definitely eat here again!

Took our friends from America for a real English dinner and they loved it as did we. Food is always great and served quickly, no rush or interruptions from staff. Excellent night

Great food. I have tried most of the sausage varieties and all of them are delicious. Amazing services. This is one of my favorite places to eat in London.

This place is perfect if you’re looking for traditional English food. Everything is tasty and well cooked. The service is always excellent, even when the restaurant is busy. I normally order the sausage and mash but my husband loves the pies. The desserts are also delicious.
