We love mashed potato - it's the food equivalent of a great big hug. Our mash is made with only the very best Maris Piper potatoes - and it's made fresh. Not that day, not that hour, but right before you tuck in. That way it still has the creamy fluffy texture we've whipped into it.
Add a piping hot pie, free range sausages or vegetarian option.. pour on your choice of fresh gravy.. and you'r done. Feel all warm and friendly.

    A solid choice in this somewhat touristic area. Their classic pie was delicious, the steak was so flavorful. The mash benefited from some added salt. The gravy should have been served at a hotter temperature. Waitstaff were helpful and informal. Interior is attractive. Tables are a bit close together but not claustrophobic. I enjoyed my meal, particularly the pie, but wouldn't say I'll be craving MM. If I was going to be in the neighborhood and needed a solid meal, I would eat here again.

    Delicious, classic British bangers and mash! They have lots of options for those looking for a classic meal with a twist as well. Big portion sizes, friendly staff, good location.

    il ragazzo che ci ha servito è stato gentile e super disponibile, ci ha consigliato gli abbinamenti migliori che si sono rivelati ottimi. Il locale è abbastanza piccolo ma curato in tutti i dettagli. I tempi di attesa brevissimi, il cibo molto gustoso e il prezzo davvero competitivo

    Great, traditional English food - pie & mash or sausage & mash followed by traditional puddings. Lovely! The only thing that lets the restaurant down is not offering guests a hot drink after the meal. A nice cup of tea to wash the food down would make everything perfect.

    This is the perfect place to eat before or between going to the theater. The food is simple but delicious and in a great location. They were fast at serving. I love mash so obviously I would appreciate going here. The serving of the food could have been done in a more presentable manner (for example using plates rather than deep plates would have made more sense). The windows were open meaning the smoke from people smoking in next door's bar was getting into the restaurant and we found that very unpleasant. I would go there again for a no fuss easy meal.
