The quality of the food has suffered as of late, particularly at their price point.
We had family in town to take engagement photos of my fiancé and I. The Crab Cakes were amazing, the steak was tender and juicy and the presentation brought a wow factor. The desserts were even better, so for a party of 4 or more I recommend trying all of them (we went with the chocolate mousse cake, vanilla bean creme brûlée, the bananas foster cheesecake, and the Moshulu Sundae.
Nadia delivered a service worthy of a 5 Star designation, and was just a genuinely sweet person. She also brought us champagne to celebrate the occasion, which really put our evening over the top.
Moshulu is worth it every time, and as a professional Event Planner, I would book my clients there.
We live in the neighborhood and really enjoyed sitting outside for dinner. Michelle, the restaurant manager, was especially nice as she took the time to welcome us and introduced herself.
Gary was amazing!!! So was the food (:
A place where elegance and “after 5” converge! I will DEFinitely be back!!
Our waitress Brienne was excellent!
Started off shaky. The parking lot was guarded by an automatic gate. It was not readily apparent how you were supposed to put your credit card in. There was no attendant, and nobody answered the need assistance button.
Not my first time here so I pretty much knew what to expect from the ambience. The waitress told us the King Crab legs were $72, which was a bit pricey but this was a special occasion dinner, so we ordered one and a Brangino. Birth were excellent. While we were eating, another couple sat within earshot. Once again the server quoted the $72 price for king crab. Imagine my surprise when the check came with an $85 charge for the king crab! It was quickly changed back when I questioned it, but I don’t think this was an error. Put a bit of a damper on the whole experience.
great view, ambiance, and food delicious. Service was excellent.
Easter Dinner with family.
Poor seafood. Upset stomach from Bisque, rubbery calamari, slow service, loud drunk environment
They were very accommodating and could not do enough to accommodate my family and my special needs children. They did everything possible so that we could have a mask free Easter Brunch! I could not have asked for more!
The food was pretty good however our “hot dishes” were served at room temperature and sent back to be warmed up. Also, the options on the menu at the restaurant were different than advertised online and on the open table app. It was a beautiful day to sit by the water and have brunch and the ambiance was relaxing.
The service was awful. I have to mention the obvious preferential treatment amongst some and not others. It definitely felt as if folks of different cultures were intentionally neglected and not treated the same as the others. For that reason, I would not return.
Great experience. The seafood plateau was beautiful and delicious. The service was top notch, the main courses plentiful and tasty. The views from inside looking onto the water felt like we were cruising. Overall, it was a delightful experience which will be on our list to visit again.
Had a wonderful Easter brunch at the Moshulu. Everything was perfect, as always! A real gem!
Portions are small, given the prices, although the food was fresh, competently prepared and presented.
Service was well below par.
Fine dining with impeccable views of the water and the city. Service was prompt but not obtrusive. The food was inventive and delicious. Cannot wait to reserve a table for our next visit!
This was our second week in a row. Looking forward to the outdoor live music starting soon.
My husband and I had a wonderful time very peaceful food was awesome the server was awesome would recommend to all my friends and family
Very nice and accommodating staff. Just trying to get a little taste of normalcy was th reason for this visit and it was great just as I remembered it. Thank you for keeping the tradition intact with establishment.
Excellent and would definitely recommend for date night
The food was amazing, our waitress one of the best .
Thanks so much we really enjoyed everything 😊
The water was outstanding. The lighting was spectacular as well.
Food did not fit quality of price , shrimp and lobster roll with potatoe chips , no lobster, baby shrimp $40/ eggs Benedict , eggs over poached, just poor quality food overall, will not be returning
I regally loved the ambiance. From the moment we walked in service was excellent.
The food is good . I do believe it could be better . But it’s not bad by any means .
I would definitely return . The oysters were a 7/10 . Blackened shrimp 8/10. Crab & shrimp roll 8/10 .
I had the best waitress on the boat, don’t remember his name but he was very outgoing !
Everything super delicious. Try the burger, is simply amazing . I do not recommend the thai salad. For appetizer the focaccia is super good and the tuna also!
We were married on the deck two years ago and had our reception there too. It was wonderful to be able to return for our wedding anniversary. We were unable to do that last year because of the pandemic.
What a great ambiance! This restaurant is a beauty inside. The food was amazing! Highly recommended!
Our food and drinks were delicious. Our server was also super awesome! Can’t wait to go back!
Marciano was fabulous he made us feel at home n great customer service from all the staff
Great place. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere
Touristy, low level accommodations, overpriced food and the decor is very outdated although I'm aware that it's on the deck of a boat. Felt. More like cafeteria dining for the hefty price per person.
Was expecting something special in Regards to flavor and original tastes.
Underwhelming for an expected overwhelming experience.
Woo! Moshulu is open again and we could not WAIT to return! Saturday was the perfect weather for dining on Philadelphia’s beautiful boat and so many other guests had the same idea. We went for an early dinner around 4 pm and by the time we left, you could tell so many people wanted to take advantage of the views, ambience, food and service.
We ordered the veggie sushi roll, quinoa burger, iceberg chopped salad and a sundae for two! Every single item came out fresh, to temperature and right on time.
Gary was our server and made sure that we were taken care of from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. You can tell Gary takes the time to get to know the guests at his tables rather than rushing your dining experience to get to the next. He’s meticulous with your order, how you want it prepared and he also ensures great conversation. He makes your dining experience above and beyond, and for that we will keep returning.
Great job to everyone on Moshulu for opening back up safely and cautiously- welcome back!
Always a great experience, this was our second time meeting for lunch . Great ambiance, service outstanding.
Great food, atmosphere and service!
Such wonderful staff here. They treat you like family! The food was incredible, and the views were unbeatable. Can't wait to go back!
Dining on the deck was perfect - especially when it’s a sunny nice day! Drinks were amazing and food was great. Our server Jackie was super sweet and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be back!
Great night on the deck!
Great place for any special event. Five star service all around.
Gary was the server tonight he was very nice and personable. He made us feel like family. I’ve been here so many times and this was the first time i had a server that cared and checked up on us so many times. I felt like family. He talked and joked with us. He’s amazing. Thanks Gary for making my first night back to moshulu amazing
