   Came for Mother’s Day. Food was ok. Great to sit outside over looking the river. Food is expensive, some of it was good some was average.

   Atmosphere was amazing. Ricotta doughnuts were greasy. Overall, all food was greasy. Eggs were bland. Was really expecting so much more from this place. Traveled to Philadelphia from New Orleans and was really excited about the waterfront location for Mothers Day. We sat at our table for 11 minutes before even receiving water. Unacceptable. The waiter did apologize but place can improve on many different components

   Was truly hoping for an enjoyable experience during Mother’s Day brunch Unfortunately, it was anything but. Had to send food back because it was overcooked to the point where you could not even cut the edges We have been there before and had an amazing time which is why we decided to return, but with the changing of a brunch menu and the quality of food for the price it just isn’t worth it. Manager circulated to the tables, and when he asked, he just shrugged his shoulders and kept moving

   The quality of food and in its guest have “jumped overboard”. This used to be a nice dining establishment and now is filled with tank topped and flipped Americans with no class or decorum…we in general need to do better. But the Moshulu should have standards and none where on display.

   Service was horrible. Our entire experience lasted over 3 hours because of how long it took for us to receive our food and drinks. The restaurant was not busy at the time. Food was fair, but absolutely not worth the price. I would not return to the Moshulu.

   The food was excellent. My old fashioned was quite expensive (30 each), but besides that, they really made my lady’s birthday truly special!

   This is a such charming setting. Definitely worth it. The food is very good. The drinks leave a lot to be desired. My Bellini was clearly very cheap champagne and the wine list had only a $13 glass of champagne that sells for $12 a bottle. I was looking for a nice white with my meal but choose Sangria instead. It was pretty watered down. The corn salad was a stand out and the desserts were good.

   Excellent table service as well as attention from the manager to check in and welcome us back. Each entree was delicious - the deviled eggs, the smoked salmon tower, the shrimp & grits and the short ribs & hash. And don't pass up the Blood Money - it's an appetizer all on it's own!

    I came here for my birthday dinner having made my reservation nearly a month in advance. I asked for a table on the water on the deck, and even called days before when I saw it was supposed to rain. The man I spoke to promised me a table facing the water whether inside or out. I arrived and they asked if we still wanted to sit outside when it was pouring ….. no? I explained that I had called and spoke to someone about this already. They moved us to a table inside facing the parking lot. Okay that’s fine, they had to accommodate a lot of people so that’s no problem. However, it didn’t seem completely packed. The food was then the only redeeming factor, as the service was beyond disappointing from the jump. My group likes to chit chat… but these wait times were insane. I had to ask for a second drink for myself, and it seemed like he was everywhere but our table. 2 people in my party were never even offered a second drink. We would’ve ordered so much more food and drinks! 2 hours into our dinner did the whole table get asked if we wanted anything else.. we were done at this point and just wanted to get out of there. 2.5 hours into dinner we ordered dessert and after 30 minutes of waiting we waved him down and canceled it and asked for the check. They then brought a dessert 10 minutes later with a candle after we had told them no. They did clear it from the bill, however I lost 3 hours of my life here. No one came and spoke to us, so my step mom and dad talked to the manager and they offered me a gift card to my email. No thanks. Sounds like this is better off as a club than a fine dining restaurant.
