   Excellent table service as well as attention from the manager to check in and welcome us back. Each entree was delicious - the deviled eggs, the smoked salmon tower, the shrimp & grits and the short ribs & hash. And don't pass up the Blood Money - it's an appetizer all on it's own!

   I came here for my birthday dinner having made my reservation nearly a month in advance. I asked for a table on the water on the deck, and even called days before when I saw it was supposed to rain. The man I spoke to promised me a table facing the water whether inside or out. I arrived and they asked if we still wanted to sit outside when it was pouring ….. no? I explained that I had called and spoke to someone about this already. They moved us to a table inside facing the parking lot. Okay that’s fine, they had to accommodate a lot of people so that’s no problem. However, it didn’t seem completely packed. The food was then the only redeeming factor, as the service was beyond disappointing from the jump. My group likes to chit chat… but these wait times were insane. I had to ask for a second drink for myself, and it seemed like he was everywhere but our table. 2 people in my party were never even offered a second drink. We would’ve ordered so much more food and drinks! 2 hours into our dinner did the whole table get asked if we wanted anything else.. we were done at this point and just wanted to get out of there. 2.5 hours into dinner we ordered dessert and after 30 minutes of waiting we waved him down and canceled it and asked for the check. They then brought a dessert 10 minutes later with a candle after we had told them no. They did clear it from the bill, however I lost 3 hours of my life here. No one came and spoke to us, so my step mom and dad talked to the manager and they offered me a gift card to my email. No thanks. Sounds like this is better off as a club than a fine dining restaurant.

   Moshulu is a 100-year-old sailing ship that has been turned into a restaurant. The ambience was particularly interesting and fun. You really feel like you’ve gone back in time a bit. But the food is what totally worth talking about. There were some dishes we had that were beyond compare. The octopus was recommended for an appetizer and it was incredibly and remarkably the best octopus I’ve had in my life. And I’ve eaten in a lot of places, including Greece. The second great dish was the crabcake entrée. Incredibly good. I like my crabcakes to be mostly lump crab, more than shredded crab and it met the test. The flavor was incredible. The only thing we really didn’t enjoy though it was good was a fried rice cake topped with tuna tartar. The tuna was great. The rice cake was a little too fried and crispy. A bit hard to chew. However, it was tasty. Definitely recommended for something that has both a sense of being a tourist and an interesting city, but also great dining if you have a bit of a foodie-style to your dining preference.

   Booked for 7 people. Was seated at a table for 6. Waitress did not offer to move us to a bigger table. We had to sit very closely to fit all 7.

   Brunch was delicious. Service was messy/disorganized but they were nice. I was there celebrating wife’s bday, and hoping to do a nice dessert, but as soon as we finished our entree, waiter brought us our check. So we had dessert somewhere else to celebrate.

   The appetizers and the striped bass entrees were good. The side dishes were nothing great and the entrees are too overpriced for what it is. The price they charge is elevated due to the ambiance, one can get a greater value eating higher quality in center city. I do recommend though to come by, eat outside, enjoy some cocktails and apps.

   We always enjoy going the Moshulu. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! Food and service are both excellent. First time here for brunch, definitely recommended!

    Wonderful brunch experience! Beautiful surroundings, despite the cloudy and drizzly day. We had the ricotta donuts, lobster bisque, stuffed French toast and shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious! Our only feedback is that aside from the donuts, everything could have been hotter. Great server (Mike) took care of us for my birthday.
